  1. Or you make one yourself : here and here Edited by - Stijn LUYCK on 1 Aug 2014 13:38:49
  2. Does anyone know the owner and history of the car?
  3. It suddenly stops leaking oil onto the garage floor ....
  4. Does the motor have a startup capacitor ... if so that one might be faulty.
  5. Hi Geoff, Vera and I did not do many trackdays in the UK but we will never forget meeting you at Le Sept, etc. Hope all is well out there and that the new interests are as fun as sevening was!
  6. Its always a good idea to think twice about where the switch goes ...
  7. And I just flew back from Australia ... should have booked my stay one week later so that it included the F1 ☹️ ☹️
  8. There indeed are some nice roads up there! While working in Orangetown I had plenty of fun there *wavey*
  9. I'm sorry to hear this Steve ... I remember the posting you did when you decided to buy it. ☹️ PS I'm still using your wheels.
  10. If you have adjustable shock absorbers on the Seven then set them to soft. I feel a distinct difference in little shakes of my Tiguan when towing between the Caterham set to rock hard or not.
  11. Siva ... what rims do you have? I always put 14" on my car with a soft sidewall tire to overcome this problem. To be honest I have decided to stop going to the MOT and unregister the car for the road. It now has 15 years, 130000km and I dont want to go through the hassle anymore ... trackdays here I come 😬 😬
  12. Roger, does he have a supersport engine or not? Believe my 1.6SS had a 7600rpm rev limit while still feeling strong. On the standard 1.6 you feel the torque peak well before the rev limit so you naturally shift before it kicks in ... Believe that to be about 6.5k
  13. Start on the 2.0 ... I got one for Vera a month ago and it can use some more oumph 😬 😬
  14. I always just ask for a 53030...whatever brand. Last time I paid 50£, lasted for 3 years without any problems until I discharged it 100%, that killed it.
  15. Anthony, not to have missed out I would have gone for the pick the other ones up 4h away or I would have bought any tire I could find that fitted my rims. Having some not so sticky tires would have been a revelation 😬
  16. Don't know much from the crossflow but that sounds a lot like when I had an inletvalve spring die on me on my k-series
  17. The car looks better without the wings anyhow Roger!! It was good to see you in SPA, hope the trip home was not too eventfull. *wavey*
  18. VGA to VGA is the best way forward for you. With some luck the laptop will recognise the 1920x1080 as a screen resoltution ... worst case you will have to set that one up.
  19. I see there are more people bored then 😬 😬 😬
  20. Silly question from someone who is bored at work ... if you would heat up break fluid in an open container to let's say 150C would that not remove the water content and allow it to be "good" again (beside the other properties that might have changed)? Told you I was bored .... Edited by - Stijn LUYCK on 8 Oct 2010 16:31:52
  21. Bruno, you should have come to Zolder last week ❗ Good to hear you are keeping the car, next step is to book some trackdays with it.
  22. Bruno, drop me a line if you need help in moving things to the UK. Probably could drop by at your place on the 10th.
  23. We have a stringent suspention test in Belgium that is a pain in the butt. Light cars have serious problems getting through ... the new Fiat 500 doesn't at all! ... with the ARB set to minimal, my AVO's to zero and 14" tires with a soft sidewall 10PSI it is ok.
