  1. i ordered the CBS 28 led light on Friday afternoon, it was delivered Saturday morning and I fitted it to the roll bar Saturday afternoon. Very pleased with the result
  2. JK & SM25T thanks for the quick reply
  3. I think I need to improve my rear lights as even with mirrors behind the bulbs they are not very bright, especially the brake light at night. Can I use a CBS 48 led light on my positive earth car just by "swapping the wiring" or is it more complicated than that? Thanks, Steve
  4. Is this the sort of thing you're after:- http://www.isaydingdong.co.uk/ourshop/prod_3270965-Lotus-Super-7-Black-Yellow-Wheel-Centre-Stickers-50mm-Set-of-4.html Note they can be "resized"
  5. The car not the battery . I try to use period looking parts where available.
  6. Id just buy a sealed battery like a Varley Redtop I don't think there were sealed batteries in 1967 when my car was built
  7. Quote "If you are using a conditioner, the water does tend to evaporate much quicker" Thanks for pointing that out, I've just checked and had to add some de-ionised water. Steve.
  8. "Brilliant improvement in performance today." Here here
  9. I think this is better here than the the main problem thread. The Blatchat screen defaults to the posts from the last 15 days even when you change it to a week it always goes back to 15 days. a) can we have a one day option - this should make loading quicker and b) can you make the changed setting permanent. Apologies if this has already been raised. - See more at: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/club-web-forum-problems?page=5#comment-2100022
  10. Can we have the facility to list the threads/posts in chronolgical order with the latest at the top of page 1 to save having to scroll through old stuff to get to the new (or does this exist somewhere?)
  11. Ordered, requested No 42 I can't see that anyone else has asked for that. Well done Alex

    Half hood questions.

SBFS put two zips in my full hood and now we can use it again
  15. Roger, Knowing JW's aversion to anything non genuine, I suspect they are Girling. Mine fitted perfectly and had the right numbers/markings in the casting; but some copies are so good these days it's hard to tell the difference. Give James/Ruth a call I'm sure they can help.
  16. Roger, I've just replaced my Girling Type 12 front calipers with exchange ones from James Whiting, I'm sure he has type 14 ones as well. Rimmer are a bit cheaper but were out of stock and expensive P&P, howevr I got new springs, pins etc from Rimmer.
  17. Green and yellow on Guildford Road, Jacobs Well 2.00 ish on Sunday.
  18. .....perhaps you do have a dynamo like I do 😬.
  19. Green, yellow and ali on A24 heading south, just south of Dorking this morning at about 10.300.
  20. I got mine from Framptons and stuck them to the grille with Araldite.
  21. As here. Worn once indoors, too small, these really are a normal size 7 1/2. Price only £20 plus P&P or available Camberley/ Farnborough (Hants) area.
  22. I've looked for years for a spring compressor that fits without success . I was told that a motorbike one would be OK but have not found anything suitable. I used to use jubilee clips but that's far too dangerous now, as are ratchet straps.
  23. Do you have an oil stat in the feed to the oil cooler? I believe mine only opens at 82C.

Thanks Dave. From Roger's post it looks like I have to resize the image to get it to work.
