I also spotted a green one D935TGT at 17.45 M25 leaving at J9. The blue one on the trailer was GN06LZD.
We got off the M25 at J10 (A3) and used the A331; the M25 was a car park ☹️
UPL 5 is a Lotus 6 and was/is owned by the Brewers and went to the Classic Le Mans in 2012. I believe the S2 7 in the background of the photos is Brian Soper's.
Peter,
I think the best view now is as you approach on the Abahn from the West, you don't see any of the museum or supports and it just looks like they are really taking off one after the other. Very effective positioning.
In the Auto & Technik Museum
here It's described as a 1957 Lotus 7 but is heavily upgraded however the dash layout looks correct. I didn't have a chance to look under the bonnet and I have no idea what the reference to "cit cat" is in the English description.
The museum also has a Concorde and a Concordski, a few photos
here.

I don't have a cat or lambda probes as the car is from the pre-electronic era, the only thing remotely electronic is the rev counter which is not very reliable!
In this month's Low Flying in the "A conversation recalled" interview with Terry Kitson mention is made of Terry fitting a small Perspex wind deflector just ahead of the bonnet which "considerably reduces wind buffeting in the cabin"
Does anyone have any details of such a device?
I've got an 800 model 10.8v cordless and it's great. I used it yesterday to shorten some bolts and the thin cutting disc goes through the metal like butter. The battery lasts very well but I rarely have to go above 4 out of 10 on the speed control.
Autosol is just a cleaner and doesn't protect the aluminium from further oxidisation. I find that AluMagic here does give a degree of protection as it includes some kind of wax but it won't clear bad oxidisation.
Did you ask if they'd take your "old one" in p/x?
Yes but they couldn't afford it 😬
I thought you might have been interested in it as a cheap 7 until you get Primrose back. By the way how is she doing?
