  7. Jonny, bog standard head from a 1.8K Elise covered 45k with valves and springs. First time the head has been lifted and only removed as I fitted a ported/flowed jobby. Located 3mls outside of kington LD8 2PU £50 cheers Phil
  8. I have one removed from SWMBO's Elise when I upgraded back in the autumn. Complete head with valves etc and in perfect order
  9. I have a set of two seats from an S1 in blue, removed when car had only 15K on it, totally unmarked
  10. Hmmmmmm, the only issue I can see would be the discs fouling on the TRE if the offset is 2mm different
  11. Considering changing mine so would really like to know the feasibilty of this. Just had a look on mine - 2002 - and I've certainly not got any spacers between the caliper and upright so can't see any issues about using a 2mm? spacer if necessary to make these fit.
  12. I've got the powerspeed exhaust and theres a good 1/2" clearance with the Bise/Caterham version so must be lucky. Well thought out mod

    Heat Shield

I lined both footwells with heat reflective material last year before going to the south of France and it made a big difference, a good mod if your heading into hot weather. I simply made card templates then cut the material and fixed in place with high temp impact glue.
  14. Sounds like a good mod, any chance you can post up some pics
  15. Ditto Richard, far less work to leave box in situ. Have done it both ways and would never take the box out again unless i was intending to do some work on it.

    bushes

I fitted a full set of these to all the wishbones on my wifes Elise last October. They are extremely well made and the internal bore of the bush was crosshatched to help retain the special grease. To fit them was easy, you simply push the PU bush into the eye, grease the inside of the bush and then press the stainless sleeve in (actually pressing the sleeve in is a bit fiddly and requires a reasonable amount of finger pressure, use gloves or you get sore fingers). Think I paid about £110 but that was for an Elise - 16 bushes. On the road the car feels more taut and responsive and noise levels are the same. Good product.
  17. 7WOTW, good to see your in work nice and early! Sent you a text re: tyres
