Hi my caterham has now been sold and i have the following items for sale: - Caterham Tonneau with Tillet ears. As new, £80 Sold - 13" de dion mini light alloy wheels fitted with 185/60/13 Toyo 888's GG compound with loads of tread left. Centres of minilights are sprayed a copper orange colour but could easily be coloured. Wheels average condition but straight and true, make ideal track wheels. £225 - Windscreen wind deflectors in leather pouch £30 Sold - Bilstein height adjustable shocks for widetrack with green race (i believe) springs . Good condition. £100 sold - New K series throttle cable £30 - New K series Clutch cable £20 - 4 x 13" de dion minilight alloy wheels in silver. 2 fitted with brand new never used Toyo 888's GG compound, 2 with old ACB10's. Sympathetically driven on track, never bumped over the kerbs, only 15 minutes stints with correct warming up and cooling off. Shift lights set very conservatively. Never has let me down on track. 1993 V Spec II 1.8 complete with Torsen Diff New clutch only a 1000 km’s ago, new radiator, fully synthetic engine oil regularly changed, synthetic oil recently replaced in gearbox and diff. Cambelt recently done too. Car sensibly modified for track / fast road use: - Gaz Gold Professional Shocks and Springs fitted 1000Kms ago. 400lb / 325lb spring rates. Height and rebound adjustable (currently car slightly higher than photos) - Wheels In Motion fast road alignment - MX5 parts stainless Dual Exhaust with Silenced Decat – sounds awesome and quiet enough for all tracks (cat included in sale) - Safety 21 Roll bar with custom backplates and FIA compliant roll padding - Harness bar with MOT compliant harnesses - Cobra bucket seats on Cobra mounts - EBC Yellowstuff pads front and back - Front splitter - Panasport 15” Pro Rally Alloys powdercoated red with nearly new Toyo T1 R’s - Martini retro race graphics which can be removed easily - Air conditioning removed - OMP 300mm wheel Category 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted No rust whatsoever on the car. Fresh import three years ago. Some paint imperfections but overall good for its age with no track damage A complete track car ready to run. I have done three airfield days in the car and had great fun. Has been 100% reliable and sympathetically driven and mechanically I have spent time and money getting this tip top. Only issue is a sticky rear calliper although it passed the MOT with this, being a second car and a track car I never use the handbrake. Probably only needs a strip down and re-grease. Also stereo has just stopped working but I was going to take it out as never listen to it. Selling due to concentrating on using my Caterham on track and sprints and after 5 Mx5’s I fancy a change. 168K kms (100,000 miles), MOT til April. Due to work constraints and ability i had it fixed at Taylors Foundry Motorsport in Haverhill who did another great job. I still had the original nylon dowels, believe the failure was just a case of wear although I dont think the hot trackday at Snetterton helped though. At least i caught it in early stages anyway. I just now have to put up with the jibes from my mates about k series always blowing head gaskets Still three years of tracking and this has been my only problem along with broken clutch cable so i cant complain.
