    Heater

Cars vary in their ambient temps. My XF was verty cold in the winter. My zetec runs naturally much hotter. You chaps may be talking cross porpoises
  2. I would have thought that the governing factor on frt height was your manifold / collector. I've a 7" silencer and not problems. Might be worth comparing yours to other people's at a club evening etc and also your front ride height (should be around 140mm from under the engine mount points to the ground) before doing anything too radical.
  3. seconded for the clutch. Can you explain what sort of power it's designed to take? / sort of / spec of clutch?

You can get past the whole lid sticking issue if you sandwich a plastic bag between the lid and the pot but I agree that the small pots idea is sound. then gloves gloves gloves
  5. Friend had an RK 155 spec 1700 engine and it opened its thermostat to the oil cooler fully once on track. I don't believe it opened at all on the road.
  6. Oddessy extreme is a powervamp. Pretty sure it's what I have although they have changed the name since I bought mine. I can't say why but my recollection is of excellent service from powervamp and no probs I cna recall with the battery to date (couple of years). I'd buy another.
  7. BTW PPc are doing a NOS mag next month too
  8. The renault must have been about 3 minutes out of warrnaty then. Perhaps you should have done it sooner?
  9. Car and car conversions (or whatever they call themselves these days) are doing a supercharged crossflow as a monthly feature at the moment. Worth reading that to see how it goes I would think.
  10. Sorry to deviate but I was looking at the remote filter option as I always have a 'mare getting my old filters off. Do you have any pics and sourcing details?
  11. No probs, thanks for letting me know

    Ford coil pack

Had you considered a scrappy or maybe Ford themselves?
  13. Try here for pics As to delivery, it all depends where you'll be when. pm me if you want the wheel and no doubt we can sort something out somehow.
  14. Can we have an "oooh handbags" smiley? Handbag, plus a couple of hands holding it must be possible and it might cut down on the whining threads
  15. Used to be fitted to my car, just emerged from the loft. Nice condition. £35 plus P&P

  17. Tip 1, take it easy Tip 2, ignore all those who aren't taking it easy Tip 3, if the downpour gets bad, get off the track Tip 4, make sure your tyres are the same (treadwise) front to back (painful experience)
  18. Dependent on how old your seven is you can fit the newer bottom spacer for your uprights, it's a little taller so it does what you are looking for re the angle of the wishbones relativfe to each other and it costs peanuts, this might be the right thing (there are a few variants I think) here
