  1. When I originally sent the email out about the Area Christmas do, the URL was: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/kentish-weald-north-kent-christmas-do however when I changed the subject a few weeks back as another area joined in, I didn't realise (until today) the the URL changed too, as it's now: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/kentish-wealdnorth-kenteast-sussex-christmas-do Unless this is by design, this may well cause issues for those who link to posts that then have their subjects changed. Mike
  2. Hi RedCat7 i generally find that I get more success when filling the 7 up if I use 1/2 a squeeze on the pump handle so that is not at full flow, I also don't insert the nozzle all the way in, I pop it just into the filler and angle it down, I then kneel or squat down behind the 7 whilst keeping a beady eye on filling it up until it's full to the brim. My ggage is wildly inaccurate as SM25T and Stu Innes can attest to from our recent Euro trip, the gauge on my Sigma engined SV starts to fall slowly, until it hits 1/2 way then rapidly falls to 1/4, slows down and between a 1/4 and the red and then falls very very slowly, whereas SM25T and Stu's gauges, fell inline with mine to 1/2 a tank and then kept going at the same pace. We recon the sender is the issue, but I think I chickened out @ 220 miles with the needle in the red, before filling up and I only manage to get 37l into my SV sized tank (que the calls that I wasn't trying hard enough) I think it's a case of TADShttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/whatchutalkingabout_smile.png Mike
  3. If it's what I think you're after then how about here: http://www.softbitsforsevens.co.uk/page24.html Mike
  4. Quoting AMMO: You should have it tomorrow. 'tis here - Messengers delivered it 1st thing this morning Mike
  5. Quoting tbird: come on someone buy this camera, as it's one of Ammo's it will be in superb condition I'd love to, but as there is an EOS350D, EOS40D and an EOS70D in my kit bag, and the fact that SWMBO spotted this thread yesterday and noticed that I'd purchased AMMO's lens, I think that I'd get shot. Mike
  6. Hi Ammo Is the Canon 85mm f1.8 an EF/EF-S mount? If it is, could I have "dibs" on it please and some details to pay for it+postage Thanks Mike

  11. What a lovely day for it! Mike
  12. Was it not in the document that I sent you on the 15th April with all the codes in? If running 185/60 R14's tyres then the input code to enter into the speedo unit should be: 024363 I'm out at a motor sport event all day, but will try and check in if we get a lunch break Mike
  13. The fog light on my 7 (07 plate) will come on once the headlights are on and will stay on if I use main beam. On both the tin tops (60 and 62 plate) the front and rear fog lights will activate once the headlights are on and as with the 7 stay on with main beam. My old X-Type (04 plate) would turn the front fogs out if you used main beam. Mike
  14. If anyone wants them, I've got the docs (I believe from Caterham) with the settings for the 10 DIP switch version of the speedo (MPH only), and the electronic newer style - sensor on rear wheel (MPH and KMH) Just BM me with which one you'd like. I used them plus a dual carriageway, to get my electronic one so that it matched it's speed reading against Tom Tom & Garmin Satnavs. Obviously, you use at your own risk etc etc 😳 Perhaps it's something that should live on BlatChat as a reference point, as this topic comes up fairly regularly 🤔 Cheers Mike Edited by - michaeljclark on 15 Apr 2014 11:32:05
  15. You will indeed be in trouble. If anyone was unlucky enough to come in contact with front of the car, you've got a hot engine block and moving parts uncovered. Daily Mail link for something else with no bonnet (and a few other bits missing) Edit: I'd suggest it's covered by Section 2A Road Traffic Act 1998 Para 2 here Mike Edited by - michaeljclark on 11 Apr 2014 19:52:49
  16. Tom - is your address still the same it was when I send the last batch? Mike
  17. Just to bring this post back to life - does anyone want any of these to add/replace existing covers - or any other task for that matter? I've got a load of PC's that are about to exit the building to be donated to charity and thus far I've rescued about 12 caps Mike
  18. I had mine replaced @ Oxted Trimmings (the folks who made the arm rests) took them about 5 mins - might be worth giving them a call? Mike
  19. The biggest card a Hero 2 can support is 32Gb as per GoPro here
