How old is the ignition coil? I had very similar experiences when my died, it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders, no power, and would not rev about 3k, then got steadily worse. Changing the coil it was back to normal... if you can borrow one to see if it is this, then it saves you the effort of the carb removal etc.... Dizzy is facing back same as Dee, if you rotate the dizzy, you need to change the lead locations to the firing order is correct again.... Mine is a solid state one and make a hell of a racket, you can hear it chugging away and the note changes as the system comes up to pressure. Alex, forget the Dizzy.... ;) Actually, I will have mine up for sale once the Megajolt is in... this is modified for 9-12 degrees at 900 rpm -> 36 degrees at 5500 rpm... only done about 500 miles since being re-built... Got the trigger wheel and crank pulley done, need to set up the sensor bracket so could drop by one evening... Hi Ammo, My 92 chassis has had the modified toplinks on it, and has a bolt through lower wishbone front mout (also had a ford axle fitted which was a bit of a bonus..) I just got a set of dedion wishbones and ARB from Rob Grisgsby, next on the list is the uprights so i am at a dilema, buy now for a winter project and postpone the toyos....
