  1. Maybe Roger King will be along soon to give his valued input. One thing I would check is the valve to cylinder wall spacing as the cylinder bore maybe a bit tight with the big valves. Are you considering increasing the capacity at the same time ? Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. 2. Cut and paste from "the Bay" : Fender Stratocaster 1997 Japanese 60s Re-issue This auction is for my black '97 Fender Strat. It comes with a hard case which the guitar has always been stored in. Subsequently the guitar is in mint condition with not a single mark on it. The guitar has the typical Strat configuration with three single coil pickups and a 5-way selector switch, one volume and two tone controls with the 60s faded pickup design. The sound of the guitar is fantastic! It has a very punchy neck pickup which I have found great for funky rhythm playing. The fourth position has a typical Stevie Ray Vaughan style sound whilst the bridge position has a nice bright tone which cuts through really well for solos. I have also put a new set of Elixir strings on it for the new user. My reason for selling is that I have a very similar guitar in a cream colour which gets all the use at the gigs. I can't justify keeping this one so it would be better going to a loving home. To the winning bidder, I can ship the guitar out to you and I will of course package it carefully and send it fully insured to make sure it gets to you ok. I'll get it out as soon after the auction ends as possible. Alternatively, I am willing to arrange pickup for the guitar for anyone closer which may be cheaper/easier. Please please contact me if you would like any more info about the guitar which I haven't already included or any futher pictures. Happy bidding!" Looks ok to me but I have no clue about Guitars. 3. A cable tie can be used to secure them in position, loop it through the holder and over the top of the relay to stop it popping out when you put your foot down.. 4. AVES, I did the same as well... with the same effect, 1 mountfield with a nice hole in the side and a busted con rod... that was on Petrol though. 5. I'll take the fuel, can you post it up to me? 😬 Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed. Edited by - jonboylaw on 16 Nov 2010 13:48:45
  6. PITA to get to. Once out you may need to grab the plunger with pliers to pull it out again, but be gentle so as not to score it too much, then use emery cloth the smooth the surface as it is probably gunked up. I also sprayed with switch cleaner to flush it out a bit. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. 7. I have a complete Dizzy, Amp, Coil and Rev limiter set up available for a tuned Xflow set up, if you are considering buying anything. Jon Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.

  13. You might as well replace the Chassis mounting blocks (the rubber blocks) at the same time as these do age. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  14. My 92 live axle car had the lower studs. I had these removed and fixing modified by arch when I had a long front put on. You will need to add the forward link kit that bolts on via the ARB fitting, swap to a new ARB and mounts and cut a hole in side skin for the new top wishbone to fit in. I bought the Caterham uprights from Canley. So basically I have a de-dion front on a LA car. It did not seem sense just to swap the lowers. The advantage if going the route I chose is that I can go wide track when I want to (read afford) :) Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. 17. Tiddy1, Ok got you now... Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  18. Tiddy1, Jason is looking for a pre-registered chassis, so it will have a plate already associated with it. If it is a Q plate then it will stay a Q plate, if a normal plate then this will carry over, but any new engine details will need to be added to the V5. This raises an interesting point, are older chassis becoming more valuable as they are exempt from all the emissions and no IVA required... This is from the owner of a '92 car 😬 Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  19. Hi Adrian, I need 2.25" What condition are they in ? Price ? Cheers, Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  20. Simon, I am interested in the Sachet of additive if it is gonig surplus to requirement. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  21. Looking for a pair of 300 lb 6" or 7" springs for AVO front shocks. Does anyone have a set lying about? Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  22. Trade her in for an au-pair... they are much easier to run. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  23. Or you can get a lot more character for your money up here. This is my mum's house, it has extensive views over the Forth to Edinburgh and is 2 min walk from the beach. 3 car drive and a garage. The property is 142 years old, with all original plaster cornicing intact and 15 ft ceilings. I wish I could afford to buy it.. Sad to see the family seat go. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  24. I went the welding route but used the Burton smaller steel crank pully. Worked a treat for me. I am of the same opinnion as you in that I would feel more comfortable with it doweled in place, just for piece of mind. Having said this, the mass of the wheel in fairly low and should be well ballanced so I would not expect too much inertia on the TR. Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow. Stealth model (Matt Black and Ali), rebuild completed.
  25. Do not over tighten the bolts when you re-install it and do opposite corners to keep the sump pan from distoring, this will stop the leaks. Greas the faces of the gasket to keep it in place and stop any leaks... worked for me. If you do need to split the box from the Engine you don't have to take the engine out, just pull it forward enough to get the plate off backwards. Whilst off, you might as well cut it to save you time next time 😬 Jonathan ========================= My Flickr Gallery 92 Supersprint, Ford LSD LA, RK AX Crossflow.
