I'm thinking Kmaps were Z&F Tuning? Well known and recommended by many.
  11. Well, this is my new project, I picked up at the end end of January.... In the last week it has gone from this To this.... Cheers Ian
  12. I sold my Duratec Seven before I was able to take it to a rolling road. I just heard today the result of the rolling road session from the new owner....213hp.... I'm pleased for the new owner, I did the conversion with a standard Duratec, fitted with Jenvey 45 SFS Throttle Bodies on a Scholar inlet manifold and Caterham R300 decat exhaust. It used a Megasquiet MS3 ECU that I build from a kit. Here is a pic before I sold the car.... Cheers Ian P.S, next post will be the new car....
  13. I've just taken quite a bit out my loom....R400 race loom now with an Emerald ECU. All the wiring to the AS5, OBD now all gone... Cheers Ian

  16. When I did the K series to Duratec conversion, as said above, I got the garage to certify the engine number with a headed paper from the garage and signed by the MOT tester. FOC, but I left them some beers as they do a few things for me. All went through with no problems. Cheers Ian
  17. Hi Mark I'm sure I've had less clearance at full droop between the Dedion tube and the chassis rail, more in the order of 1/2 inch. My car is in bits at present so I can't measure, all I'd say is as long as there is some clearance at full droop it's OK, so you could potentially gain 10mm length in the shock.... Have a chat with Simon Rogers, I'm sure he be able to give better advice than me.... Cheers Ian
  18. Yes Martin is very helpful, he helped me with my car. Cheers Ian
  19. Six and two threes if both are shielded, though if my memory serves me correctly the shielding should be earthed at the ECU end. Cheers Ian
  20. RE engine mounts... Put one of the mounting bolts back in and flex the rubbers side to side by pushing the head of the bolt side to side to see if the bush is still bonded to the insert that the engine mount bolt goes into as a starter for 10. I've replaced mine when the insert has showed signed of coming away from the rubber. I hope that makes sense? Cheers Ian
