It comes with: 4 new tyres, storage/fuel box, tyre rack, winch, Winterhoff anti-snake stabiliser hitch and Bulldog hitchlock. 5. I have two K series starter motors available, both checked and working properly. One of them is a Powerlite but the brand of the other is unknown. £80 each plus £6.95 postage (or collect from between Basingstoke and Reading).
  6. I have not used the equipment for several years so it is time to make some space. I am offering it to club members before advertising at a higher price on an auction site. It is a decent quality and sturdy Trak-rite wheel alignment system with the measurement determined by a reflected light beam. All the instructions are with it. £60 In an ideal world this will be collection only, or meet part way, because of size, weight and age of the original box. I am between Basingstoke and Reading. However, if you are further away contact me and we can consider the feasibility of delivery. /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2632%20Large.jpeg /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2633%20Large.jpeg /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2634%20Large.jpeg /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2635%20Large.jpeg
  7. Thanks Stephen. I have sent details to you. Sold subject to payment and collection.
  8. A set of four arm restraints i.e. for driver and passenger. They are black and unbranded. £30, postage paid by me.
  9. Four 13 inch diameter anthracite 8 spoke wheels, two are 8 inch wide and two are 6 inch wide. One of the 8 inch wheels is marked where a balance weight was fitted in the wrong place. They have only been used for track days and have always been garaged. The tyres are Toyo Proxes R888 SG. They should be good for another couple of track days - I think they have done two so far. There are two each of 205/60R13 and 185/60R13. £350. Collection only from Basingstoke/Reading area. /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2629%20Medium_0.jpeg /sites/default/files/images/users/768/IMG_2630%20Medium.jpeg
  10. There is nothing on the Superlight R register that looks like this car. Therefore, be careful in case it is a look-a-like rather than original.

    Fog light

Caterham has confirmed that it was designed to operate this way. The proof is in the wiring diagram which shows that the fused live for the fog lamp comes from the dipped beam circuit. If anyone else suffers a similar MoT failure and finds this in the archives, I have the email from Caterham and can forward it.

    Fog light

Thanks for the replies. The failure note is that the lamp has been adversely affected by the operation of another lamp. I have contacted Caterham and am hoping that I can obtain a confirmation that the lamp is operating as intended. With any luck that should then satisfy the tester.

    Fog light

I've just had an interesting MoT note. The fog light works on dipped beam but goes out on main beam. It is something I have not noticed before and a quick look has not identified anything (so more detailed investigation to follow). Has anyone else come across this or know what the likely cause is? It seems strange to have a fog light working on main beam as in real fog you should only be using dipped beam.
  14. The VHPD was built by Minster Engines (not Minister). They no longer trade and the company closed.
  15. Thanks Ian. I am going to an autojumble tomorrow and will be able to get some there. The car is not at home at the moment so I could not measure it myself.
