  1. Well I certainly haven't got that one so in that case a very BIG yes please!! I will send you my address Ian, many thanks. Andy, sorry ☹️ Alan
  2. Hi Ian, sorry for the delay in response! I have two brochures from this period, one predominantly green border and the other an orange border. I can't find any reference to model year in either but they both cover the k-series cars and are identical inside the covers. Unless yours specifically states it is for the 98 model year I will bow to Andy's need being greater than mind and thank you for your patience. Alan 😶‍🌫️
  3. Hi Ian, could I put in a tentative irst dibs please? I have a 98 Roadsport but I've also got some brochures although I really can't recall having a 98. I'll confirm this evening if that's ok?

    Half Doors

So if you buy some second hand one's the chances are they won't fit??
  6. Before I bung these on fleabay is anyone interested in them for £60 + p&p? http://s1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj601/Foggythe7/ (not sure how to do the link thing on a Mac!) They are Piloti DTM's in a size 9, Nomex lined and are brand new. I was so impressed with them that I bought them in the misguided belief that I could cram my tootsies in....... I can't!!! I have padded around the house (carpet) hoping that they may give a little but I'm only trying to con myself. I really need a 9.5 or maybe even a 10. 😔
  7. Green and yellow, H reg? North of Bath on the A36 heading south Fri approx 1:20pm!
  8. Paul, However, I can see your mind is made up, so what I would do in your position is buy a pair of Caterhams wind deflectors, but after fitting them, take them off again and bend the lower rounded section in more, using boiling water, so that the deflectors stand out more I know 100% what you mean but have never had the bottle to attempt bending the lower portion in! So, please could you advise on the procedure you used as I'm anxious not to snap them in half!! Thanks
  9. I looked in to this a few years ago and can confirm that my insurers at the time (can't remember who, sorry ) were prepared to accept a starter button and doomsday switch with no increase to the premium as my steering wheel is removeable. I decided against in the end as I wasn't convinced about the ability of the starter motor to be activated without a key. I know the engine won't start because of the immobiliser but the implications concerned me. In the end I compromised and fitted the starter button but with key activation of the ignition circuit.
  10. I can't access the photo's due to restrictions on the works server but if they are very small you will be surprised at the results from a "Dentmaster" type chap. I was daft enough to allow a similar object to come loose and damage my car, hardly noticeable at all now!
  11. Bit delayed I know, it was me! Weather permitting I'm often through Devizes on my way to/from Marlborough/Warminster. 😬
  12. One of the funniest things I've read in years!!!! Good man, you're a legend! 😬
  13. Talk about delayed reaction ................ it was me!! Foggy the Silver Seven !!
  14. Roy, mine was mounted vertically due to the issue of the engine brace being in the way. I merely fashioned another upright bracket and riveted it in place up to the battery. If you think this arrangement has potential to you, drop me an email to foggy7@hotmail.co.uk and I'll email you some pics. Foggy the Silver Seven !!
  15. I had 3 small dents removed from the rear of my 7 after I failed to secure the jack properly! 😔 I used a dent removal specialist local to me (Wilts area) who made an amazing job of the repair. Cost is normaly in the region on £60 per panel.

    Orange 7

Orange 7 heading North along the A350 between Trowbridge and Melksham today, approx 4pm. Oh, and getting wet !! Edited by - Foggy on 25 Mar 2010 17:22:49
  20. Hi Graham, I've just gone through all this when I fitted my PVR25. I found that as Grubster says, the terminals are the wrong way round but I did find that my leads were just long enough. The PVR25 has "flat" terminals with a screw thread sunk in, if you see what I mean? They come with the appropriate allen key bolts so it's just a matter of clamping the leads through the eyelets with the bolts. I originaly ordered the mounting tray with intentions of removing the existing "Banner" type tray and mounting the Powervamp flat. Unfortunately, there is a chassis member that gets in the way and it just won't fit! Reluctantly I returned the bracket and utilised the original tray by making up an "L" shaped spacer and new top clamp. Painted black it looks fine. May I add that Ed Roller at Powervamp was extremely helpful and the battery was delivered in under 24hrs from order!!
