    Selling

It's a while since I sold anything privately but these are specialist cars and have a narrower audience, as such I'm prepared to explore all avenues. Miles, your suggestion of contacting Millwood would be worth a call as that's where she came from originally. BigCol, very impressed with your "trick" and certainly worth remembering if I end up going down that route. Nobody has mentioned the various Facebook forums as yet, they worth a try as well or is there a dark side that the unwary can fall into?

Thank you both for your input. I'm in no rush to sell but have arrived at the decision that there is no point putting off the inevitable. I don't suppose it would do any harm to test the water at this stage and see what the response is like.

    Selling

After 17 years of ownership and much conscience struggling I've decided to sell my 98 1800 Roadsport. She's always been a high days and holidays car so not track biased at all. When is the general consensus of opinion, the optimum time to advertise and other than BC, anywhere else favoured? Thanks all
  4. Hi Ray, I've messaged you.
  5. I have the Low Flying magazine from May 2006 - September 2022 free to anyone who would like them. Obviously they are far too heavy to post so collection only from Warminster, Wiltshire. Anyone local (ish) that would like them? I have listed these before but no takers so anyone interested before they go to the tip?
  6. Free to collector (donation to prostate cancer at your discretion) all complete, all excellent/good condition. Far too heavy so unfortunately collection only from Warminster, Wiltshire.
  7. Alastair, from what you're saying my tyre requirements sound to be extremely similar to yours. I have run Toyo 888R's for a few years now and never had cause to complain. The increased grip (dry) is very noticeable and inspire confidence.
  8. Another on 14" Minilites with Toyo R888's GG compound on mine.
  9. Hi Malc, Obviously M12 x 1.5 but approx 34mm total length.
  10. Just noticed they're marked 12x1.5
  11. Hi Malc, I might be able to help you out but not 100% sure I have what you're looking for. I bought replacements from Chris at Redline years ago and the invoice tells me they were WHEEL NUT - FORD 12mm DOME (item code SN14). Obviously they're not mint condition but quite happy to send you one of the best if they're suitable?
  12. TomB, I ended up sticking the hose pipe down the upturned top radiator hose that comes off the water rail and that seemed to do the trick. Whilst I was in the midst of cleaning/flushing I removed the expansion tank which was looking decidedly grimy/stained and successfully cleaned it with a mixture of hot water/washing up liquid and dishwasher salt granules. Give the whole mix a damn good shake to agitate and you'll be surprised how clean it comes!
  13. So ideally we could do with Bluecol replying to ECR with their opinion.
  14. StevehS3, what year(s) does your handbook refer to? My K series car is 98 and my understanding is that Caterham only applied the recommendations from 2001 on.
