Not sure if this helps but I have a 1760cc xflow that was originally built for a hillclimb customer of Paul Matty's in 1993 which I bought and refreshed 3 yrs ago to the following spec:
AX block
Flat top Arias forged pistons with new rings
Stage 4 race head, unleaded conversion, steel rocker assembly
A6 Cosworth profile cam; Lift inlet 10.3mm, exhaust 10.2mm; Duration 304 deg; Timing 104 deg; new followers
New SS one piece valves 41.3mm inlet, 34.9mm exhaust
New bronze valve guides
New double valve springs
Bore 85mm (honed), stroke 77.62mm, capacity 1762cc
Crank - std, polished and checked
Main bearings - std
Bid end bearings - std
Balanced - yes
Conrods - std Ford OE, std length, balanced
Head gasket 87.5mm Ajusa
High pressure/capacity oil pump
New water pump
Balanced clutch/flywheel
Running on 2x Weber DCOE 40s with Emerald 3D ignition
Rev limit 7,500rpm.
Flywheel output approx. 165bhp from Tom Airey dyno in Hants on a crisp spring morning.
