  1. Nice tidy car with 56975 Miles. Has one of BMWs more reliable engines. Advertised on Pistonheads as well here Advertised at £6495 but sensible offers considered. Andy
  2. Realise we're getting a little off topic but that CSR R500 at Joe Macari was, I believe, built at Caterham Midlands by Simon Briggs. Definitely bespoke and Simon these days is at Vitesse Global in Leicester taking care of similar bespoke projects as well as Caterham servicing, race set up etc etc. He knows his stuff. Andy
  3. If you end up biting the bullet for a new silencer, I'd recommend a Raceco one. Quieter than the Caterham ones, lighter and likely around the same cost, plus they are re-packable. They can also be made to the exact same length as your original if you didn't wish to mess around with your Cat/Bypass pipe. Speak to Mike Riley.
  4. Selling my sons Golf. This is the 130bhp version of the pd engine which still impresses with power delivery and economy, even compared to today's servings. Car is advertised on Pistonheads here: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-mk3-mk4/volkswagen-golf-mk4-gt-tdi-130bhp--------------2002/10474420 Selling for £1500. Service history and Mot until March 2021.

  7. The above are on eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Polished-Caterham-Duratec-Superlight-R500-Exhaust-Silencer-/201408836456?hash=item2ee4e6f368 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Caterham-Series-3-Carbon-Aeroscreen-with-Racetech-mirrors-/201408834598?hash=item2ee4e6ec26 I"ve nothing to do with the seller but thought it worth bringing to the collectives attention. Andy
  8. It's even better than you thought because the mileage is 43k You are welcome to come and have a look. Andy
  9. Selling my Range Rover. Pictures and details on Pistonheads here It's a nice one in immaculate condition and has been totally dependable. Thanks for looking. Andy Edited by - chippy on 9 Sep 2013 11:38:39 Edited by - chippy on 9 Sep 2013 11:43:14
  10. FWIW Lotus Azure Blue and Ford Imperial Blue are 2 entirely different colours even though they may look similar. The Lotus paint code is B20. Andy
  11. If you remove the rubber grommet in the bodywork you will be able to pull the connector through, disconnect and then remove the whole light block away having threaded connector and grommet through the hole in the wing. As for the bolt fixing the wing, you should be able to get an 8mm socket on the inside(possibly requiring a small extension bar - qtr inch drive) and either a spanner or second socket on the outside. It is a bit tight but you shouldn't need to take the boot floor out. Hope this helps. Andy
  12. Hi Nick I live mid way between Derby and Nottingham. Have ventured out Ashbourne way a few times for a blat so would be good to meet up at some point. Andy
  13. That was me. Just out streching the legs of my new R400 after its 500 mile service. Very quick and seems much faster than my last R400 K engined car Andy
