  3. Where the pin sticks out top of door,could you get a male circlip on.I know there's no groove,but it might work.or an anti rattle washer.
  4. I have same as your 1st plugs,their motorcraft and1.3 don't know your new ones,maybe he's given you ones from the vct engine.they could be running hot/cold that's why their not firing.
  5. Wait till engine stone cold,remove airfilter foam,get hand down for a good grip,once you've cracked it open,nip it back up,warm oil,then it will be easy.
  6. remove the map and put that in the airing cupboard aswell,nothing to lose.

  9. all my fuses and relays are on show and never had a problem,my sat nav socket is just below the box and is also fine.i think you would be very unlucky for it to get splashed were it is.
  10. fusebox cover,i did'nt even get one.thought they were too heavy and made the front dip down. leave it off,it will save it falling off. .

  12. Maybe you have the wrong belt and It's too long, Fit correct belt and tentioner will not be as far out,if that makes sense.
  13. Just been to check mine,i can get my finger down the gap from the alt belt tentioner. 2010,150 sigma.

  15. Is it not at the top of the brake peddle,or in the peddle box. Do the brake lights work.

  18. Ford stopped making the longer type a good while ago,said it was over filtering and baulking the flow.
  19. The fluid your describing should be binned,lost its viscocity. And yes,if the peddle travels too far,the piston seals will pop out of the m/c. But that should have happened before 35k. You could pull the cover boot back while wife presses peddle and see if you could see part if the seals. And no,slaves are not bullet proof.
  20. in my 2001ford focus manual,it says crankshaft pulley bolt 115nm,85lbft. that is for a 1.8,and 2.0ltr engines. hope this helps.
  21. If you remove m/c cap and press the peddle,can you hear a squelching sound,if so,the seal inside the m/c has flipped back and to.a new seal kit will be needed.
  22. I didn't need to take out the bolt.it just passed through the gap.
