  1. Selling my Bilsteins as ive upgraded to Quantum Two Zeros. They've come off an R400 Duratec SV. Fronts have been on the car since it was registered in 2008. Numbers on the springs are:- Fronts: Eibach 40/07 Caterham cars 75517 Rears: Eibach 27/15 Caterham cars 74076 Both rears were replaced by myself approx 3k miles ago, one of the old dampers was leaking so i replaced the pair of them. Rears are in very good condition and clean. Fronts, as you would expect, have a small amount of tarnishing but none on shaft of damper which is 100% clean. Happy to send specific photos, please pm your email address and I'll send, but Ive posted some photos below to give you a look. Not looking to split them unless I find buyers for all. Looking for £450 for all four dampers + springs. Delivery can be arranged at additional cost (£20). EDIT: Editted because the forum doesn't like mobile phones. :(
  2. It was at the fly. Steve G and I had a conversation about it. ...or to be even more clear. When Steve pointed at the bhp , I said 'thats at the fly yes?'. He replied 'you're one of the few to get that right'.
  3. I was searching for something similar last night. Try this thread : https://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/which-new-6-point-harness

Yep I have the ford sierra diff too. Access via boot is much easier for me than attempting yoga positions from below. I also used the Redline MTL in my gearbox. Definately an improvement. :)
  5. R400 Duratec. 2008. 23k miles. Roller barrel throttle bodies. Dry sump. De-cat. 214.5bhp and 159.3lb/ft at fly. Very happy with that considering Caterham say 220bhp with RBTB. :) Ps. Sorry about formatting.. forum doesnt like mobile phones apparently.
  6. I had issues at low rpm too. 2450 or thereabouts and the engine would sound 'off'. Kind of hesitate, struggling. A fair bit of kangarooing at low speed when trying to trundle in slow moving traffic. All gone now though. Re. Fuel filter, i believe its in the tank but dont quote me on that.
  7. I hope this thread helps. :) https://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/wing-mirrors-options-instead-flappy-ones-side-doors They are fixed into the stanchions, i know youve said you read some posts on them but these completely solved any issues for me.
  8. As promised... here is the update. Took the R400D to the two steves at TracknRoad tk have it remapped. Prior to arrival I fitted a new set of BR7 spark plugs gapped at 0.9mm (I found a post on here saying Steve G recommended them. Also found one from Aerobod with loads of good info). After remapping its like Ive got a different car. Massive increase in throttle response. Like.. night & dsy levels of difference. Loads more urgency and pull from the engine when you squeeze the throttle. On RR it hit 140mph so I know the gearing is capable. Ive not been able to test top speed on circuit yet but I have absolutely zero doubts its going to be much higher than before given the new sense of power. All credit to the two Steves. They know their stuff and as far as Im concerned... money well spent.
  9. As promised, latest update is that its going up to two steves at track n road for mapping. Likely to be about a month before I update this thread again unless i find something new.
  10. Yep. I will definately keep you posted :)
  11. In case anyone else needs this info in the future. run a logging session tonight. friend and laptop in passenger seat with laptop plugged in with easimap 6 running. lambda fluctuating up / down around 1.0 mark. at full throttle lambda was ignored, engine ran rich at this point. throttle sites moving smoothly from 0.0 at idle to 15.1 full throttle. consistently smooth readings. tps from 4.64v at idle to 0.8v at full throttle. again, consistently smooth readings duty cycle never higher than 50% even at throttle site 15 (full throttle) (not sure this is too low?) spoken to two steves at track n road. getting it booked in for a session with them, other than the duty cycle, which only appears low to me but i dont know if this is normal (green injectors), im struggling to see anything immediately wrong.
  12. Thanks for that Scott. Gives me a bit of reassurance im not imagining it. :)
  13. Thank you very much. Thats information i can definately understand. I'll plug the laptop in and log it. I know a stretch of private road. Im located just outside Bristol. Bit of a drive to the two steves but im not opposed to it.
