  1. We also have a 2021 Rollerteam, which we use for towing the Caterham around the country. Ours is a Transit based model, so a bit different to yours, but we love it. GLWS.
  2. The 1997 Caterham Roadsport Championship ran 1.4 litre K Series Supersports. The 1.6 litre cars were introduced for the 1998 championship (so some could have been built at the end of 1997). Their spec was as follows: 1.6 litre K Series Supersport 4 into 1 non cat exhaust with 6" diameter silencer (so 138bhp) 6 speed 'box Dry sump 3.92 ZF LSD Race chassis with under dash handbrake Safety Devices roll cage 13" x 6" minilites with Avon ACB10 tyres
  3. I have just agreed to buy a covered trailer for this season, so my trusty Brian James Minno is for sale. It fits in a standard single garage and it is large enough for an S3 Seven, but not an SV. It was serviced last summer and is in good condition. Specification is as follows: High level tyre rack (fits 8 wheels and tyres) Jerry can box (fits 4 cans) Centre boarding in phenolic ply (replaced last year) Locking hitch Security locking wheel bar Rear stands Winch Long ramps Heavy duty jockey wheel Spare wheel and tyre Located in Newark, 5 minutes from the A1. £1,950 Photos to follow next weekend.
  4. This is my ex Academy car (2009 season) which has been progressively upgraded to Supersport specification. Although it is primarily a track car it does have a V5 (currently SORN) and a valid daytime MOT. Comes with lights and number plates. I was going to race it next season so have already done some winter prep work eg diff rebuild, to make it as good as it can be. I have a trailer so may be able to deliver. The car is eligible to race in the Caterham Graduates or would make a fantastic sprint, hillclimb, trackday or even road car. Caterham Supersport 1.6 litre Sigma (made 153bhp on Northampton Motorsport's rolling road at the end of November) 5 speed type 9 gearbox (3 hours running since rebuild) Sierra diff with LSD (car not driven since diff rebuild) Radtec radiator (3 hours use since installation) Wide track front suspension 13" anthracite 8 spoke wheels with R888R tyres Roadsport roll cage Half doors Driver and passenger race aeroscreens Lowered floors Plumbed in extinguisher Headlights and rear lights included (but not fitted) The car is in great condition with the only body damage being to the rear panel, but even that's pretty good for a race car. In common with most race cars, the speedo has been disconnected so there is no accurate odometer reading. I have used a moulded seat so no seats are included, but a Tillett on adjustable runners could be made available at extra cost. More pictures available on my Pistonheads advert: https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/16000854 £13,995
  5. Still for sale and now on Pistonheads. https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/16000852
  6. I can't remember exactly. I suspect we ran the pressures slightly too low, as that's what our old Yoko A048s liked. We ran the Toyos at the same pressure, and it turns out they need more wind to perform at their best as well.
  7. I tested both of these tyres back to back on circuit last year. The Nankangs felt like they offered loads more grip but, surprisingly, the lap times were no better than the R888R. In the end we went with the Toyos because they are significantly lighter and offered better performance in the wet.
  8. I've bought a couple of random vehicles from blatchat over the years so thought I'd give my Focus ST a go here before advertising elsewhere. It's a completely standard car in fantastic condition. It has a 2.3 litre turbocharged engine with around 280BHP so goes very nicely indeed! I've got nearly 35mpg out-of it, so it's not even particularly thirsty given its performance. It's done just over 29,000 miles. All four tyres have plenty of life left in them. I bought it in March and am only selling due to a job change that requires wheels with a more professional image! You can look the spec up online so I won't list it all here, but needless to say it has a lot of kit. I'll miss the heated steering wheel! £19,500
  9. Mine is falling apart, so does anybody have a spare water temperature gauge sitting on a shelf. It is for a 2009 car so needs to be the style below:
  10. Sump required for sigma engine please. Does anybody have a spare sitting on a shelf that they would be happy to sell?
