  1. if your car is an S3,make sure you state it.smaller windscreen.
  2. warm rubber boot a bit,its just cold,new,and stiff,put boot in cup of warm water,
  3. I'd have thought mask off,its been machined flat for a purpose, any thing not flat and it will be magnified at speed.

  6. When it's on the trickle charge,is the green light on.mine comes off the road in the thick of the winter and starts 1st time,no throttle used.get someone to check battery cracking amps while its turning over.does it turn over quick , and does it prime quick.

  12. a guy on pistonheads said 118deg ATDC and 111deg BTDC dont know what thread you've been reading,but this guy has photos,and he seem's genned up to me. pistonhead fella's name is PILOT PRICE. i have no connection with this guy.
  13. I had a similar problem with a 205 Fri in the 80s,faulty none return valve,long time cranking as line was empty,fitted a switch from pump to battery,flick on and count to 10 slow,started great,1st time,1st turn.give it a go,mine was a cheap easy and quick fix.
  14. had255miles twice,gauge shaking its fist at me.for safety,start looking from 210miles onwards.the big mileage was motorway.
  15. you have to have a screen demister by law,as we have no air vents,you get a heated screen.
