  1. I had a read through the archives some time ago and IIRC the impression i got was that the scissor lift may not be the best solution for working on a 7 (Due to accessibility of the car once its on, i think), but if you are just looking at lifting it then that may not be relevant?
  2. #10 - My apologies, it seems my attention to detail is not as keen as my ability to make an assumption!
  3. This is an interesting predicament! I had assumed that the JAL units were literally plug and play so it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has had similar issues
  4. So i have emailed Steve regarding his half doors for an SV. His reply is as follows - "Unfortunately because the SV is not just wider, its longer i dont think the current ones fit." In reply i have asked him if there are any plans on making an SV version, or to put it another way, what would make that viable? I am yet to receive a reply and will update if and when i do I suspect it may not be viable for them to produce SV doors, but lets wait and see.
  5. I would be interested in a set for an SV. I will email Steve and will update on here if and when i get a reply
  6. The best advice i had when doing mine, although a different type of box, was to make sure you undo the fill plug first, as you dont want to have drained it all and then find out you cant open the fill plug. As it turned out this was excellent advice as the fill plug was a complete nightmare to open, where the drain plug was really straightforward.
  7. #12 - I am running them on mine with no problems. I think there are quite a few people doing the same who will probably be along shortly with their experiences
  8. #7 - Do you have details of how to make the YC ones fit internally ?
  9. For every way we find to make things safer, a way of undoing that work will come along.
  10. #3 - The healthcare issues around this sound very interesting.........

    Sold - R300D

Congratulations on the sale....... and congratulations to the buyer. An excellent car!
  12. #34 - An excellent idea, and very useful!
  13. #64 - This mirrors my experiences this year with both A-Plan and MSM.
  14. #46 - I have just moved to MSM underwitten by Ageis after A Plan tried to move my policy to Markerstudy. My APlan policy was originally underwritten by Ageis but on renewal the price went up significantly and Markerstudy were suggested as they were cheaper than last years premium. I politely declined, called MSM and got an Ageis policy cheaper than any of the quotes from APlan
  15. I would have thought this would be snapped up given current factory waits and the spec!!
  16. Thank you Andrew, it seems my second guess was correct and it was an IT glitch, although it would have been far more interesting to develop the conspiracy a little further!
  17. incase i have missed a direct request already in the thread - In the interests of transparency and in order to clear up any further speculation, would it be possible to have a response from the leadership team on this please?
  18. #605 - So im assuming the letter from CC was published on page 54, hence its disappearance? Bringing me on to my other point about why that is the case and what event has prompted that action?

    Upgrade

I think the world is your oyster when it comes to upgrading,..... assuming you are already skilled enough to extract all the performance from what you have at the moment, otherwise you are just carrying around more excess potential that cant be used
  20. In the interests of transparency it be interesting to know what exactly was on p54 that has disappeared, when it happened and what prompted it?....... Im assuming it was there for some time and wasn't removed immediately, hence leading me to the assume there was an 'Event' that prompted the action? Not being an IT expert i am guessing it is also possible that a page has disappeared as an IT glitch .......... but im sure someone will fill in the detail around that soon
  21. Ive had an interesting renewal this year where my broker (Who has a good reputation on here) has tried to sell me a policy underwritten by Markerstudy. When i explained i would rather not be underwritten by them, i was told my original underwriter (Ageis) was charging double that of Markerstudy. After a little research and off the back of another broker recommendation from here, i have secured a quote underwritten by Ageis, which was substantially cheaper still.
  22. I think you will need to go some way to get better than SPC
  23. #30 - MSM with Ageis underwriting were by far the cheapest for me this year, even though other brokers who were also using Ageis were more expensive.
