  2. A big thank you to all involved in organising the track day. Sharing the day with LoT and MGoT seems to be a good match.
  3. as the title, spotted driving from Salisbury towards Southampton at about 3:45 today. im sure I've seen that car featured somewhere before v nice looking Caterham. Tim
  4. Silverstone pit lane marshals are good at sending cars out at intervals it's really only the first session which starts behind a course car where it might be a bit busy but a drive through the pit lane can create a decent amount of space without loosing much track time. on the question of car numbers its really about cars per mile. A comfortable number on Brands Indy is 24. Combe is limited by noise and 12 is very sparse. Silverstone is Mahoosiv so there is plenty of room for 50 cars, far fewer per mile than Brands. It'll be great fun. tim
  5. Have already made place holders in my diary for Silverstone, Donington, Brands and Angelsey. :)
  6. I had a whole new loom for 'Tigger's Broom' which was done by DC Electrics in Malden, Essex. A work of art but it ain't cheap! ( I hope that there was some gold in it somewhere!) i did get them to provide big loom connectors which will make life easier in the future for upgrading and engine removal. So far It's proving to be ultra reliable. Tim

  12. I certainly had major issues with the powder coating on my 1994 chassis, bad corrosion everywhere. All sorted now following the re-build which saw 'extensive' chassis tube replacement. tim
  13. I'd like a little help with tweaking my Emerald map. 1.8 K-series Jenvey MTB's Bernard Scouse airbox 285H Cams with verniers (Timing is OK)The map is pretty good when the coolant is warm (above 60 degrees), but below that when blipping the throttle the engine stutters or dies. Cold start is also OK, and if I raise the engine speed slowly it seems OK but it's when I blip that the engine hesitates. I've uploaded a clip to youtube of the live adjustment screen https://youtu.be/ba4QORMqVo4 and you might be able ot hear the engine. I probably need to make an adjustment when the coolant temp is below 60 degrees and have read through the Emerald crib sheet http://www.emeraldm3d.com/media/software-manuals/Emerald%20K6%20IACV%20&%20Cold%20start%20crib%20sheet.pdf but before I fiddle I thought I'd those who know better than me where to start. I'm drawn towards 'RPM Correction for coolant enrichment ' being the thing i need to look at. Any thoughts or advice warmly received. Thank you Tim
