It has not been used since, as I had to purchase a replacement as the repair took them several weeks. £100 +post No dibs or reserves please tel 01275 371255 rob Edited by - rob walker on 28 Sep 2013 09:43:40

  5. Hi Jack, What year is it and how rusty? Cheerio Rob
  6. As Dave jackson posted we both had the same problem at Le Mans bugatti circuit on the left hand corners the cars felt like the clutch was slipping and the car lost drive. Stripped the diff at R&Race nothing wrong. Changed diff oil to Castrol LS and the problem went away. Note this was only in Left hand corners with the car on the limit. If you have slip in a straight line I would look somewhere else as one wheel is fixed drive with the Titan or ZF plate LSD's. Rob
  7. I think that you will gain nothing in polishing the exhaust ports. I would certainly not do this without the head off as you run the risk of getting abrasives into the cylinders with the head on and it will be impossible to get to the area that matters around the valves seats. Leave it alone. Rob

  12. Never any posts about the Elite 6 speed IL200 box, its much lighter 22Kg and half the price of the Quaife at £3600. I know that the very early boxes gave trouble especially when used with the electric solenoid shifter but I have been told that the box is now sorted and really good value. Simon Rogers ran one for years perhaps he can comment. Rob Edited by - Rob Walker on 10 Aug 2013 07:38:46

  15. If you want it to go then dump the stock pistons as the compression ratio is too low. Supertech produce some nice forged pistons for the Zetec
  16. Emerald, fitted a few and never had any problems, excellent product and customer back up.
  17. Suggest you find an MOT station that understands our needs, hope you get my drift.
  18. WB, Yes run over the top of engine roughly in the middle then you will need to fabricate some sort of stay bracket to fasten the threaded bit of the cable outer to. The inner then connects from above. I used to use the long rover MGTF which went arround the front of the engine because it looked neater. Why not take a run over, I have a new cable in stock and you can see how I have done mine + catch up. New address The Coach House, Sandy Lane, Abbots leigh , Bristol BS8 3SE tel 01275 371255 Rob
  19. WB I use the standard Rover cable from the 25 and run it over the top of the engine. All that is required is to cut off the nipple at the TB end and attach the jenvey trunion to the cable. Works perfectly. Regards Rob
