  1. Yes, you might have a 'tall' roll bar. Got a photo?
  2. 15 cars per week in 2014/15: http://uk.caterhamcars.com/news/merry-christmas-graham-macdonald
  3. IME 'rattles' come from the droplinks, 'squeaks' from the arb bushes and 'creaks' from the a-frame bush. YMMV. When I refurbed mine rear suspension I just got everything from CC, but I do use SpringFix parts on a BEC single seater.
  4. I think you're right John. Mark said his power socket 10A is the tenth one up from the bottom which matches. I've updated the graphic above.
  5. I don't think so. I think J-R first, then A-I (as you look at the fusebox). The flasher unit is likely to be marked 'Wehrle 201 101' or similar and looks different to the others. (For future searches, similar discussion here: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/fuse-identification-2010-superlight-r400-stack-dash).
  6. ============ original post ========= Hmm.. my confidence above was based on thinking it was more like this: Edit --- original image removed based on John's suggestion below ----- because: - a 'Wehrle 201 101' is the flasher unit - the fuses match on the bottom half but... I started comparing at the bottom and didn't compare the top! ========================= New image with the top half of fusebox rotated 180 degrees, so the ratings now match.
  7. Should be the second one down (ref. current owners manual p.46).
  8. To close this out, the layout of the current fusebox (relays and fuses), which the OPs looks like it is, can be found in the Owners Manual (cunning!) rather than the assembly guide. You can get it from the CC website if you are logged in.
  9. Boot cover material could add a few mm too? Edit - for clarity, what I've been measuring is a vertical line parallel to the plane A-A.
  10. Hmmm... bearing in mind that I made that drawing a while ago for something that the measurement you are after didn't really matter (hence the '~' before the 350mm) I've just been to re-measure. I reckon that taking the top end of the error means that it could be 368mm.
  11. My 2009 Duratec fuse box looks the same as John's.
  12. That sounds familiar re. the aluminium and plywood on race cars.
  13. I think, based on my SV roadcar and having swapped a fuel tank a while ago, the two items that you have linked too are interchangeable and you need a 'boot board' and a 'boot divider' in addition. IIRC you put the plywood/ally 'boot floor' in first and screw that to the small flat lip that sticks out from the turrets, then attach the 'divider', then attach the 'board' to the divider and the small lips that stickout from the chassis.
  14. This is a known issue I'm afraid Chris and I think it is well down the to-do list, unfortunately.
  15. I use one of these Kennedy ratchet driven oil filter wrenches on my Duratec with a short filter (and several other cars/bikes): unless there is not enough space to fit a ratchet, such as on my 106 Rallye where there is a cross member in the way, where I too use the Halfords 300mm pliers.
  16. Spotted you as we were heading south somewhere between Cambridge and Peterborough.
  17. Just download the most recent ones from the CC website (you have to log in).
  18. Other sources differ from 34Nm because of the different designs of manifold (or equivalent). You'd need 55Nm on the bolts for a Duratec with an all-in-one manifold, rather the four seperate primaries, for example.
  19. What's the brake caliper clearance like? No suggestions in the manual?
  20. Yep, over your side of the hills for my regular meeting in Bury. Had a good run over the Snake and back. The benefits of having the Seven insured for business use! :D
  21. Yes, I saw that, but thought I'd reply here so there was an answer for anyone searching in the future!
  22. It seems wrong, but just push the panel in with your thumb.
