  1. Does that eccentric chap Leon still own LPE?
  2. blah blah blah, you said it yourself!!
  3. I have no idea, but i'm sure it's heavier than most of yours! But it is running around 380bhp.
  4. "Eats everything" Very strong words considering....
  5. This is just a lesson to teach you for having the foolishness for using Kwikfit......
  6. You can get fined or a defect notice for small plates. You cannot get points for a small plate. Number plates do not come into the MOT test. When we used to occasionally get pulled for stupidly tiny plates on the bikes, the MOT tester used to laugh and just stamp the form,as in his words,"The test doesn't involve the plates."
  7. I am away flying at the moment, but i can mail you some pics and dimensions when i return if you are interested. It was originally fitted to my car which has a YB Cossie lump in it,and had been proven to run 300 bhp in that set up.It sits across the alloy radiator and the brackets are designed to pick up on the original Caterham mounts. It really is a bolt on part. The plumbing side of things should be pretty straight forward. Reason for removal was an upgrade to a bespoke charge cooler kit after fitting winter upgrades of larger turbo, injectors, map etc etc blah blah. Try and post your addy on here if poss or text me on 07930 450578 and i will do my best to get back to you asap. thanks.
  8. What are you intending to turbo charge? I have an intercooler spare that is designed to fit over the front of a caterham ali rad.All fits under the nose without any mods
  9. I am in Whiteley. I have a Cossie YB in mine with the T5 Borg Warner box in it.Mine has had exactly the same symptoms as yours. It has proven to be the rubbishy plastic pivot clip on the opposite side of the bellhousing that has failed. Unforunately due to the crowded nature of my engine bay i have had to remove engine and box and split the 2.And of course Ford no longer make the bit, so have made something a little more substantial to do the job. Good luck and if there is anything i can do to help just shout.
  10. I have been thinking about this problem too, as last year it got pretty hot with a turbo stuffed under there too.I plan to add a pair of the carbon nose blisters this winter and use one to duct air to the footwell, and another to bring more air to the filter. Time will tell if it's any good.
  11. Any chance of a pic or a link to the item on someone's site? If it will fit my set up consider it sold. Many thanks
  12. I already have a hydraulic clutch, but with an external slave cyliner(Wilwood) operating the release arm outside of the bellhousing. If my hunch is right, it is the small plastic fulcrum that Ford deemed suitable that has failed. It is no longer available, and i do not think i want to replace it.Who was your kit made by?I suspect that SBD are going to be pretty VX biased, and mine is the T5 box not the usual type 9. Thanks for your help and any further help appreciated.
  13. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about these, especially experiences with different manufacturers products? I am looking to replace the release arm and crb in the bell housing of the T5 box on mine,as the standard ford setup is causing me problems. Does anyone reccommend a competetive supplier for the likes of AP,Tilton etc, that offers better value than DT? Many thanks in advance
  14. Fill it with water and get it welded...
  15. Anyone?? Ta
