  2. Thought you were selling it......... 😬
  3. Many thanks, this is how it is currently assembled.I thought i was going to have to start stripping many parts back off!!I found a spare o ring in the bottom of a placcy storage bin, and thoguth the worst!. Cheers
  4. Just wondering if anyone has a tech diagram of the mocal snadwich plate thingy.Putting the car back together and it looks like i have a spare O ring.... If anyone can give me an accurate worded how to or even better, a copy of the assembly diagram, my life would be complete! Many thanks
  5. How much for the bench seat set up? And will it fit into a 96 dedion? I'm Hants too so can collect. Thanks.
  6. The exhaust on mine exits straight from the back of the turbo and out through what would normally be the carb cutout. No bodywork was cut.
  7. Are Reverie now approving these for road use?
  8. Mine is a 96 dedion, has a YB cossie lump in it, still charged and intercooled.Running the T5 Borg Warner box from the RWD Cossie. It fits.
  9. Adam, I understand how you feel, that's why i ended up purchasing myself in the end.I just can live without it now until next winter!I also hear what you are saying about e-bay madness, it's totally comical. If it's any use the Machine Mart job was pretty well made when i got it home, and has proven to be exactly what i needed, also when folded it sit's in a surprisingly small footprint. regards Tom
  10. I need a single tillet seat to fit the passenger side of a 96 DeDion car.Or does someone have one they could lend me for 3 months until my leather bench seat interior is made? For a suitable donation to NTL or your beer fund if needed! Thanks
  11. I did read the part about not wanting to borrow. I have just bought the 2 tonne folding machine mart jobby, and will be finished with it this week.I also have a Brit tools rotating engine stand, both in as new condition.I am reluctant to sell them unless the price is appealing.I am however prepared offer a long term loan if you can live with that.I am in the Fareham area. If this is no good to you, best of luck on your search.
  12. Richard, Thanks for the info, def will be having an aeroscreen when available, and 99% sure about a bonnet too. Enjoyed your article in Low Flying too.
  13. Richard, Please also register myself for a carbon aero for around that price... How is the bonnet progressing? Any idea of prices yet? Thanks
  14. Torque figure didn't register......... 😬
  15. Just taken a few pics of the valve. It's made by Goyen and is clearly marked in/out.In should be against the body of the sump cylinder, out should be the pipe feed back to the engine. The solenoid definately only has 2 connections, one positve and one ground. If you forward me an e-maill addy i will send you the photos. Also i could fax the instructions over if that too helps.
  16. I have an accusump with leccy valve fitted to my Caterham.I can check the wiring and the manual tomorrow for you if you like.It shouldn't lose pressure when power is killed to the solenoid.I also am 95% sure that there are only 2 wires from the valve solenoid. Also, is the valve fitted the correct way? It sounds daft i know, but the electric valve is also a one way valve when de-energised, so that if the accusump is switched off, oil can still be charged into it when you start, so if it's the wrong way, even with no power, oil will flow out. Make sense? Good luck and let me know if you need more info Edited by - normalbloke.29 on 14 Jan 2004 23:41:24
  17. ********* Such a nice conversion,it's unique, makes the standard JPE seem common as muck.....cue the abuse
  18. The Paul Stepehens jobby perhaps. Is someone buying at at last?
  19. On the YB in my Cat, I have removed the stat, pulley, and have removed all bearings, shaft, impellor from the waterpump assembly, and am having the holes welded.I maybe pedantic, but didn't like the thought of the old waterpump assembly sat there as a potential leak point. I will try the pump this summer, and if it proves unsuccessful it will be relatively straighforward to fit a conventional pump and stat back into it. Bob, once again, many thanks for your input on this, it has been extremely eye opening. p.s, know anyone with a decent YB 4x4 bare head for sale?
