  1. Hi all, If you do it yourself make sure you put a smear of silicone sealant under the pinion nut washer otherwise oil can come up the spline of the pinion and weep out via the washer. PS much easier to do with the axle out. Cheers Chris

    A few more bits in my clear out. 1. Hood bag, S3 £25 2. Aluminium windscreen surround £25 3. Flat Laminate glass windscreen. We had a few cut by local glass supplier will fit above £20. 4. Boot floor, in ply wood to fit live axle long cockpit. £10 5. English axle 9 inch drums, freshly skimmed. £15 6. English axle 3.89 diff with Anglia prop flange. £25 SOLD 5. Ital diff centre. This is the actual open differential part only. £20 6. Ital front hubs x2. £10 each. 7. Lucas Super Coil, part number DLB101. £10 8. Lower Wishbones, trunion type X2. Phosphated. £10 each 1x Sold 9. Xflow rear exit stainless steel exhaust, (not manifold and collector). offers 10.   8. I'd be surprised if you had overdone it, I ran 2 litres of oil. There is no way there is any significant pressure in the axle and as long as the breather is open! Cheers Chris
  9. Virden, If it is leaking that much I would do some thing about it. Not a difficult job and no specialist tools required to change the pinion seal. Probably in theory changing the pinion seal could be done with the diff still in but will be much easier with the axle out on the bench. Cheers Chris
