  1. More likely some of us on the actual event What a great run we all had.
  2. Fog lamp received safe and sound. Nice condition and thanks for packing it so well. Donation sent to NTL as discussed.
  3. Phew, just in the nick of time! Many thanks, BM sent.
  4. Yes please! It looks like the one that mounts below the body? If so, happy to give it a good home as long as the bracket is serviceable? Edited by - Steve Wright on 2 Aug 2014 09:04:55
  5. I have sent an email to Lee Fowler. I've been after these kind of rear fog lamp brackets for some time. Happy to do a deal on the brackets, or the old ones if salvageable! Cheers.
  6. OK, it wasn't who I thought it might be then 😬
  7. Martin, are you sure it was a Tesco filling station?
  8. No worries Gerry, worth asking. I don't think there were many that were mounted below the rear panel. I bent it reversing into a post in France a few years ago on the way the the Swiss international. Have made my own version but like to keep the car original if poss.
  9. Ooooh, bit of a longshot Gerry. Is the rear foglight the type that was mounted below the chassis rail on a bracket? (Rather than on the back panel). If so, and if the bracket is in good condition, I'll have it.
  10. Geof, have a BTT on me

Ian, have you seen this in the For Sale section here
  12. We saw it too, what on earth was it?
  13. The standard RHD K-Series cable is 70cm outer length, I just measured mine. The *73 one will appear to work ok if you dress the cable more toward the front of the car to make a longer loop. I guess your TB installation needed a longer cable than the standard plenum setup. These *73 cables will be very popular with our European buddies no doubt. Caterham no longer seem to stock the standard cable but they are plentiful on the net e.g. here
  14. I'd like one of the throttle cables please. Blatmail me with payment details? Ta!
  15. The warp speed would have blurred the red edges on the cycle wings with the yellow, forming orange. Probably too fast to spot which bits were which Also spotted on the front cover of Low Flying this month!
  16. I've got 53,000 miles on mine, original pads front and rear, and still going strong. (Maybe I don't slow down enough ) Mine is a road car but even on a track or race car, shouldn't the fronts wear at a faster rate than the rears? Could the handbrake cable be adjusted a bit tight so that they are constantly under pressure against the discs? Just a thought.
  17. Hi Mankee, yes long time, hope to meet up some time. I may pop along to Hethel for the track day. Bob's CSR is quite a machine, 315 bhp if I remember correctly 😬
  18. Has to be Bob. Come on Bob, where are you, your very first "spotted"
  19. Spotted today Wednesday 29th May, green with yellow nose band and stripe going south between Balcombe and Cuckfield on the B2036 in West Sussex. We were in the red Skoda Fabia travelling the other way, waving. You had the hood up but it was p'ing down!!!
  20. Hi Chris, thanks. You have further mail.

    spotted

Alan, could it have been C 7 RSR? If so it was Bob Ruddock or one of his clan. Theirs is an SV (Count the number of poppers on the windscreen to identify, 7 on S3, 9 on SV )
  22. Spotted parked in Long Melford this afternoon, C 7 RKW. Might have been a CSR with hindsight (Had CSR front wheel arches) Had a quick look round at the Soft Bits shower cap, are they any good?
  23. They do that if the cooling fan is running at the time. Can't remember why but I think it keeps current going onto the EMS or something like that.
