  1. Various left over items that have been taking space in the garage for many years. All prices include UK postage apart from where stated: "For collection or meet". Offers will be considered if I've got it totally wrong. 1) Now sold to Paul: Weber Tuning manual. Packed full of diagrams, part numbers, settings etc. Includes 38-48DCOE carbs. A total of 92 pages. Good condition, no greasy finger marks £10 including UK postage. 2) Front anti roll bar from narrow front track 1996 S3. Showing some use, it's the '96 "comfy ride" one, approximately 9mm diameter. Collection or meet somewhere in East Anglia. £20. Somewhere I have the matching "comfy ride" blue springs with Bilstein dampers if you're interested. But the dampers may be worn out. Negotiable. 3) Anti roll bar orange bushes and balls. New and in sealed packet. £10 UK posted. 4) Just in case any of our air-cooled folk are on here: A pair of VW Beetle wheel spacers with fittings. I had these on my 1966 narrow rear track beetle and have kept them ever since. It's time for them to go. £25 UK posted. 5) And finally, even more obscure! For the retro motor bike enthusiast, an original tool kit for a Honda S65 Sport. My transport in 1966 and sadly long gone. This will go onto E-Bay and must be worth £25 as most of these get separated from the bike and therefore lost forever. Comes complete with original feeler gauge.
  2. Thanks to everyone for your ideas. Contacted Chris at Redline and it seems that we've found something that can't be sourced! Must be a first for Redline. Contacted Bruce at Arch, it seems that the bracket came with the lamp at the time. During the argument with the concrete post, I took out the lamp as well. Replaced it at the time with stock from Caterham Parts but it came without the bracket so guess it's one of the later panel mounted ones. Great idea Drumster, I had a look at those and may well go that route. They look great but are not quite like the originals, so it's a toss up between keeping the originals with my botched bracket or changing the look slightly. I know I'm a sad originality freak but there you go! Thanks again for all of the ideas, I'll have a think.
  3. Thanks everyone, I'll call Redline on Monday. Re post number 5, mine also has the two small barrels brazed to the frame. The bracket that I need is bolted to the back of the lamp, it's flat steel and narrow at the top, rolled into the shape of a tube. A long bolt passes through the barrel on the frame and the rolled section of the bracket. It's fixed by nyloc nut on the end of the bolt.
  4. Great idea, thanks Ian! I'll give it week then contact Arch. I botched it with some extruded aluminium for many years ago, it had an argument with a concrete post in France. Noticed it last week when it was up on the ramp for MOT, and thought it would be good to get it back to original again.
  5. Looking for a fog light bracket for 1996 car, a time when fog and reverse lights were hung below the rear panel. It's made of flat steel with a rolled end for the fixing bolt. Just thought somebody may be fitting JAL rear lights to a car of this era and might have a spare bracket. I know one could be made but I'm not clever enough.
  6. Seven in Gulf Colours heading out of Milton Keynes in the direction of Buckingham today.
  7. One Blue with Yellow stripe, the other Green with Yellow stripe. Looked great, having fun heading West out of Chipping Norton.
  8. My daughter spends her life with horses and one of her customers is after one. Any chance of a picture or two and location? (We are in Suffolk) Blatmail if you don't want to put it on here. Thanks
  9. Hi, Sevens and Classics generally have lots of this kind of thing: https://sevensandclassics.com/used-parts/7j-x-16-caterham-wheel-refurbished/ The one shown in the photo does not have the centre cap but they may be able to help. Steve
  10. Yes they will do so, and I believe they are still using the original jigs. Give them a call.
  11. It would be probably worth more than the value of the car now Stephen. At the time, I'm not sure whether the option to retain and transfer numbers was possible. I certainly wouldn't have thought to look into it, it just seemed like any other number plate. I traded the Rover in for a VW Beetle, as I was doing lots of travel to see my then girlfriend, now wife of 50 years. So a good investment :-) The Rover only gave 18mpg on a run. The Beetle gave twice that amount.
  12. The second car I bought was a P4, a wonderful old bus. Paid £175 for it, and sold it three years later for £75. Should have kept the registration number!
  13. Cover-Zone Stormforce 4 seasons outdoor cover. Complete with carry bag as shown in photo. Used for one season only, current price £199. Yours for a decent donation to the Club's current PCR charity. https://www.cover-zone.com/products/car-covers/stormforce/?make=94&model=Type+2+Camper%2fBus&year=1971&trim=Camper&ptype=28 Have sold the T2 and now got a T6, so no longer needed.
  14. That's fine John, many thanks for posting the picture. Steve
  15. John, were you thinking of selling yours? Steve
  16. Hi John Yes that is the one, thanks for putting up a picture. Steve
  17. I just wondered whether anybody has one of the limited edition prints that were sold at the 50 Years of the Seven celebrations in Norfolk. It featured a drawing of Colin Chapman and two Sevens. Would be interested in buying one. Happy days! Steve
  18. No, it definitely wasn't that one Andrew. I can see that there is a market for the retro look, could maybe be tempted myself, but not at that price. The one I saw was a dark colour with orange roll bar and detailing. Looked like a mean machine, maybe bought with track days in mind. Steve
  19. Spotted today on the first day of 71 registrations. Heading South on the A134 from Bury St Edmunds. The registration was something like AY 71 EOO. Suspect new car pickup from Krazy Horse? (Lucky man!) Heading South so maybe one of the Essex gang.
  20. Just spotted driving into Long Melford, Suffolk, at 4pm Saturday 31st. Looked like an original S2, in yellow and bare ally.
  21. Brilliant, thanks James. I see you seeked out and deleted the post in question. Not sure why I can't edit it though, normally I can. Many thanks Steve
  22. Seems easy to reproduce when the system is slow, just done it again......
  23. I've somehow created a duplicate post. Thought I'd edit the title to say so and remove the text, The system doesn't seem to allow this. Any thoughts? Ta.

  25. Hi, I'd like the pair of footwell carpets please. Assuming they are standard Caterham S3 Long cockpit de-dion. I'll drop you a PM, let me know postage. Many thanks Steve
