  1. 205's with your piddly little engine http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/facepull.gif You will be WAY over tyre'd... http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/loser.gif Oh - I got my black minilites via Uncle Albert http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/happy.gif
  2. If you ask the question at the 'other place' I know he'll answer 😬
  3. Uncle Albert of course!!! The best for all 7 stuff, especially Zetecs!
  4. Unfortunately the Bling cover doesn't stop the water fully. Does help though. I'll see if I can take some piccys of the extra drain holes, but may not be able to post them (or anything else) as my memberships runs out shortly. But anyway, they were easy to do, and it was suffering with water in plugs 1 and 2 that made me look into the problem. No problem at all since.
  5. I have added drain holes at the front of the cam cover, as the cant of the engine is wrong for the standard drain holes. Simple process, and no more water in with the plugs. I do use NGK Platimum plugs - but only purchase from what I hope are reputable sellers.

    Play in front hub

Depending on the amount of play, this actually sounds like it could be impending bearing failure... Caterham have been known to not not use enough grease on assembly. One of Le BOG Club members had such a failure on the Le Mans Blatt this year - and he's not alone! I would recommend fully checking the bearings. See: here.
  7. This may help: Suspension and Roadholding The basic being set the front lower wishbones parallel to the ground, with some body rake set with the rear dampers, as defined in the article.
  8. Ian, I sent you a number of Blat Mails, but never received a reply... Sorry!

  11. Ok, the majority of people have paid... I'll be closing the Bulk Buy this coming week and making payment to the supplier, so anyone who has not paid will be removed from the list! If you want to be part of this Bulk Buy, please make payment immediately. http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/money.gif

  14. List being updated as postage details and payments come in... please prod anyone you know who is on the list an doesn't have a http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/hi.gif or http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/money.gif smilie next to their name... http://www.7-dna.com/forums/img/smilies/excited.gif Edited by - Eugene on 16 Oct 2013 11:18:57
  15. Hi Dave, that should be possible. Payment will be required along with all other orders (so please e-mail me your basic info so I can respond with payment info). We'll just hold your delivery back for a bit... I've added you to the list now. Cheers.
  16. Ok, we are ready to finalise everything. Please send an e-mail to 'eugene@7-dna.com' stating the following: User Name and number on the list Real Name Address Number of bearings (most are x2) Circlip type Required postage I will respond with payment details. When all payments are made the order will be placed with the supplier, and they will ship direct to each customer. Let me know if you have any questions. Edited by - Eugene on 14 Oct 2013 16:09:22
  17. All names added - the present list can be seen here. I will add to this thread once we have stopped adding names! At that point I will need delivery address and final requirements (verify qty, circlip type, and postage option) sent via direct e-mail to this e-mail address. Fil M, just one per side, as are just fitted to the lower wishbone.
  18. New circlip info added to first post - please read and state you preference when I ask for your postal address!
  19. I've spoken to Uncle Albert, The 7 Workshop, and he recommends the circular 'spring' type circlips... (but he says either will work!) I have asked the supplier if that is what they supply... will report back. Edited by - Eugene on 10 Oct 2013 15:34:06
  20. Next question... Caterham list two different circlips for spherical joints... http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/img/p/670-670-thickbox.jpg and http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/img/p/1770-1769-thickbox.jpg I'm checking with the supplier which they recommend/use, but what are people's thoughts on what is correct?
  21. My near-side one got flagged in its MOT the other day - hence this thread... It has done about 15K I guess...
