    Hi My wing fell off and I used Sikaflex 292+bighead tyrap holders..I spent ages cleaning the wing so that you could eat your lunch off it . Then stuck the bigheads on and then left them for 4 days. Now they are stuck.. Bought the Sikaflex on the web..Think I used this one.. here. Was told use only 292 Damm dear but well worth it.     Thanks for all the comments. Having a bit of a problem getting Sikaflex 292..Chandlers only have 291 which is a no no. Will order via the web ..     Hi My fan( on a 1.8 roadsport) comes in after about 10-15 mins of idling..If I go for a run and leave the engine running then the fan swings in..Seems normal to me.. However if I go for a wild blat then I cant here the fan anyway cos Ive gone deaf 😳 Maybe get a switch for the fan so that you can control when it comes on but I think its doing it job.     Hi , On the way back from Le Mans my cycle wing came loose. 😳.used a tyrap or two to fix. Now Ive bought some Big Head fasteners but cant decide whether to use the Fibre Glass method of fixing or use the Sicaflex glue. It looks though Simon (the previous owner) went down the big head route but only on one wing (which stayed on and It looks like fibre glass..and looks firm ).     My CRB packed up last week on the way to Le mans. I asked for a quote from Taylor Foundry Motorsport near Cambridge and they wanted approx £300+parts for fitting. 😳 So I decided to do it myself last Sat..Got the CRB from Redline ..£10.. and fitted it with a mate of mine. This is the first time Ive took out an engine ever.. The new CRB has a plastic look to it and seems loose and not up to the job but after todays Blat I can confirm it works ..for how long who knows. I read everything about CRB/Engine removal / Bleeding the cooling system from Blatchat and it gave me the confidence to do it. Still a 🙆🏻 to bleed though .     Hi , The first thing that I noticed on mine (2003 1800 roadsport k sv owned since July)was how heavy the clutch was. A mechanic mate of mine reckons its normal...but if I get stuck in heavy traffic I know my left leg is going to be tired. I also now coast up to red traffic lights and standing traffic praying they will move. But I am getting use to it..legs getting stronger... There is no way my Mrs could drive the car...maybe a good thing. 😳 Next week I hope to try out someones else's at my first club meet...cambridgeshire..first chance Ive had to come along.     Hi My switch packed up so I removed it ,took it to bits ,cleaned and reassembled..all ok now.. Bought one from my local car shop anyway..£6..just showed him the switch and he knew which one it was. now have one in reserve. Steve S777 XTC ..What a brute..

    Hi I have now received the new escutcheons but they are completly different to those on the 7. Mine are a lot smaller with 2 screws which are used to attach them to the frame. The new ones seem to have been redesigned . 😳 It looks as though I will have to remove a couple of rivits to fit them in place which is a tad worrying. I may be stupid but it seems that these escutcheons dont seem hold the stud in place..are they guides??. Sorry to be so dim!! Steve.. S777 XTC..What a brute...

    Hi all, I have the armrests fitted to my 7 but the passenger one will not stay in place. To my horror ,when I was on my own I noticed that the arm rest was flapping and the rear popper holding the door had also come loose which meant that the door nearly flew off..This meant holding the door while slowing down and not changing gear. Can I get a new fixing kit for the door/armrest.(I reckon I need the bit that goes into the frame.) Thanks Steve

    Hi Mine does exactly the same. I reasoned that at 80mph there was more air moving through the rad and everything was normal. Maybe Ive misunderstood how the cooling works ☹️ Steve

    Hi, Yep we were going to the FOS . Saw the traffic building up on the M25 😳and decided to go down the M3 and cut across. Still took 5 hours from St Neots to FOS .. 😳 Had a good time at FOS though Were you in the red seven with the aeroscreen and your passenger reading the map 😬 Steve
