  3. Yes, he's a really good guy to deal with.
  4. I doubt that titanium is any better in shear than high tensile steel. It sure is lighter though
  5. I rather like the fact that it looks ridiculous. It sort of makes a point about noise levels on pre existing circuits
  6. showing final exit curved pipe removed
  7. ive had a twin side mounted silencer setup for many years. i wanted something that was easy to fit at the circuit if i had problems with noise (260hp VX 16valve on throttle bodies). i have two raceco silencers mounted one on top of the other with the final exit disappearing under the car (makes trackside measurement very difficult for marshals!). below are figures taken by the marshals at donington Drive by after 4 laps with 1 Raceco side exit (not yet up to full speed and commitment) 99.6 db 99.5 db Drive by with twin Raceco silencers in the final 15 minutes (well up to full speed and commitment) 96 db lap after lap Drive by with twin Raceco silencers Donington 21.10.19 98 db quiet day and no problems

    In tank fuel pump

    Which car model?
  14. Having mistakenly filled the Elise with high ethanol fuel on my way back after our trip, the engine ran ok but felt down on power,. Unusually, the engine stalled after every restart ( normally it just starts and ticks over). This is a bit left field for you but .....

    Dedion Ear covers

And use silicone to seal them when you reassemble
  16. A useful fix for a doubtful master switch is to superglue a small washer to the end of the key. This pushes the internal contact faces more firmly together. The contacts don't "wipe" together when the key is operated and so can oxidise. Putting more pressure on the contacts usually works
  17. If you didn't replace the input shaft seal that has to be suspect. Ford use that cork seal on the type nine box so although it seems a strange choice of material it does work ok if fitted properly. Are you sure that the leak isn't from around the selector rod area at the top of the box and is running down the face (a frequent cause of oil leaks). Good luck in curing it
  18. I have a swirl pot fitted to my VX 2.0. With the original pancake header fitted above the front crucifix the engine would be covered with water spray after a hard session on track. It's perfectly dry now. It's fitted in the top rad hose and just fits under the nosecone
  19. If only I could understand it... I bet it's a goldmine to those who can. Well done again Andrew.
  20. Tilting the seat may help (if it's not already tilted)

    Fuel Gauge

Are you sure it's the gauge and not the sender in the tank?
