I don't think that I have ever seen those caps with a threaded hole from new... I brazed a nut on mine which turned out to be not a very good idea as the heat required for brazing softened the cap to the extent that tapping the cap back in deformed the crown slightly. If I was repeating the exercise I'd try a rivnut.
Anyone have the pad reference for the latest 4 pot front caliper? In the absence of a Mintex part number other manufacturers numbers should suffice as I can then cross reference
If the tee is leaking, a run of solder should fix it. You would have to remove the valve to solder it though otherwise you'd never get enough heat into the part to melt the solder...
You have captured my car spec pretty well identically although I do track days rather than sprints now. Brake pads are difficult to recommend I think as it's down to feel as much as stopping power. I've tried a few different pads but keep coming back to mintex 1144. I'm sure you'll get a host of different suggestions ....
Happy to accept 325.00 for the diff plus a further £500.00 for the fitted cwp. Totaling 825.00 FYI. Raceline are currently listing the cwp set at 690.00 and they're not in stock. It's a rare beast and sharpens up acceleration noticeably. This is a cased ready to fit unit
ALI TONNEAU COVER KIT S3 LHS (UK/RHD). Currently painted silver grey £65.00 Collect only near Curborough. This is easily removable with just one bolt holding mine in. This then allows passenger access Btt
So many years since I was involved that I have forgotten... Theres epoxy powder coating and polyester powder coating. IIRC, epoxy tends to "chalk" after a while but polyester doesn't (or is it the other way round....)
I have a Jenvey setup on a16v Vauxhall. This was fitted by Steve greenald of road and race who should know his way round the assembly. My cover plate is on the outside of the assembly and has no spacer. I do find that tightening the fixing screws during setting of the throttle pot position is very critical and affects the voltage readings on Easimap so perhaps you are right in suspecting that the pot distorts somewhat
If it is binding on the end of a throttle shaft the spacer should surely be used to space it away so the spacer must go between the throttle body and the tps...
