  1. All, made the mistake(!) of using a high street brand mobile tyre fitter to put new ruber on my tin top (I was pushed for time, honest). Since the guy did the job on Saturday, the car is pulling to the left. Presures checked (and corrected ). What could he have bogged up to cause this?
  2. From the pics it looks like the car is owned by a club member - club stickers / JK tool tubes / photo from LF.
  3. s'ok, Google Images, as always, came to my rescue.
  4. I like the look af the replacment wheels though.
  5. It is a lovely word, but what exaclty is it? (I know, I should be ashamed of myself.... )
  6. What are the Caterham wings like? Any opinions on who make wings that most closely match the high gloss finish of RiF?
  7. JK, you are a man of many talents.
  8. SM25T - if you've half a can lying around, would you mind telling em the coverage rate of Grangers? Can't find it anywhere, not even on their own technical pages. Want to buy enough, but don't want to be left with loads either!
  9. JK, Please could I have on eof each? I still have your bank details so will send the money as soon as you confirm stock levels
  10. Just received my stoneguards. Look great. Almost seems a shame to fit them to my chipped and cracked wings....
  11. I read that as "quantum of solice" when I clicked the link but there's no Bond content. Good luck with the sale
  12. JK, 1.6K, apollo tank, mild DVA tweaks (150bhp)
  13. Thanks JK and F355 Joints remade with oodles of insuation and light works fine now . In Revilla's vid his pressure seems to go down to 25PSI. After an hours running so engine nice and warm, oil levels checked, mine is sitting at 50PSI at idle, climbing to 65PSI under load. Should I be concerned as this is higher?
  14. So if(!) I follow the wiring diagram in the assembly guide correctly... Engine loom: Oil pressure to grey plug pin 8 is Yellow/red - as per my pic. Main vehicle loom: Pin 8 is White/brown. So I think that side is correct. If I'm reading this correctly, green is the power feed coming off Fuse 2 (dash). So I think I had the correct wires. Wonder if i just made a bum connection somehow? (remember my signature on old BlatChat was "Hamfisted idiot on a cramped garage"? Well nothing has changed)
  15. Hi JK, yes it is. I connected to the w/b as I found a signal on that when I tested the the engine end of the wire from the old electric oil sender. I connected the other side of the lamp to green as that appeard to be the positvie feed.
  16. Would someone please give me the wire colours they connected the big red warning light to? A blown dash fuse makes me think I picked the wrong one(s) (2002/3 K) Ta
  17. Rich, Thinking of other parts you could expand your range with... Can you only do flat "shapes"? Ti dashboards? Ti "7" keyfobs? Ti aeroscreens? Ti cyclewings?
  18. Rich, please could I invest in a pair of the stoneguards? I'll BM contact info.
  19. hmmm - jsut re-read Aerobod's post. My lappy runs Windaz 7 64bit. Is that just not going to work?
  20. Can anyone point to a serial / USB cable that works with Emerald/K-series? I've bought two of fleabay and neither did squat. (might be my fault for going for cheap *tightwad*)
  21. Can I ask what's the general advice for fitting the BIG RED warning light? I guess a big drill bit (or rather a set of progressively bigger drill bits)? Is there any particular type of bit that is better suited to drilling the dash? Are there any other tips to be shared?
