    All, I'm going to have a stab at replacing the pads & brake fluid on my 7. Having never attempted anything like this before, I've had a good search around & watched some "instructional" videos on YouTube. Famous last words, but I think I've got the idea.. I've ordered an Ezi-Bleed, as that seems to give me the best chance of spraying brake fluid all over the garage. Can I check the following? Is 1ltr of fluid enough to fully flush the system? (Castrol React Perf' Dot 4 Synth' Fluid)I'm going to go for Mintex M1144 pads. Is "MGB533" the correct version? (2002 Roadsport, so I think the brakes are Ford items?)Other than some copaslip, is there any other consumable I'll need and haven't mentioned?Thanks in advance.

    I've seen comments on old threads about the boot cover not fitting well with an FIA roll bar. Can I ask if this means it just doesn't fit/fasten at all, or if leaks a bit more than usual / looks a bit wonky but is still servicable?

    Thank you all for the above. Taking your suggestions as inspiration, I found out a repeated alternate moistening with methylated spirit and scraping with the edge of a recently expired EHIC card proved most effective

    I have a '13 plate Superb elegance on lease. I can echo all the above. These are stunning family load carriers. Fast and comfortable. My car goes back in October and i will be gutted to see it go. Good luck with the sale

    Not sure JK. They did the tail bit very well, but refused to do the stop bit.

    Yes, sorry chaps I meant to update but got distracted by the insanity at work. The stop/tail bulbs I linked to DO NOT WORK - do not invest! The indicators bulbs work a treat though.

    @JK I tried to take photos to compare on my phone, but other than the LED bulb having a bigger halo/lens flare the pic's are inconclusive. You will be pleased and proud to know though that tried a blind test I installed Daughter #1 in my darkened garage and asked her to tell me which of the rear indicators was the brightest with the hazards on, and she picked the LED straight away saying it was much brighter. I repeated the test at the front, having not changed either bulb, and she correctly said that they were the same.

I've ordered (EDIT: link deleted as the product did not work) as Brake/Tail, but they've not arrived yet...     I've not made my mind up as to the aesthetics of this however... Has anyone any idea as to the legality / practicality of fitting white forward facing LED DRL's to the rollbar, either one centrally or two on the "corners"? I'm always conscious that are cars are small and fast and easily missed.
