  1. Simon Unless you are going for lots more power the standard size rad is fine. The Duratec tends to run quite cool. Mick
  2. SC Motor Factors Sidcup 0208 302 7624
  3. Danny Reverie have said they can supply an air box to fit. Speak to Simon on:- 01206 212423 Mick

  6. Rubber plug is 1218379 Mick
  7. Neil I've not got far with it but its here Mick
  8. Mike ,Simon I'll have a word with Pete at Raceline and see which No1 primary they are using. I've been supplying the 50amp Denso alternators with my fittings. Mick
  9. Simon Set the engine to TDC on 1 ad 4 and line the centre of the crank sensor with the centre of the corresponding tooth. When you buy a new sensor it comes with the tool for lining it up, but if yo do as above it will be fine. Mick
  10. With the Pace or Titan sump the alternator has to go on the exhaust side. Mick
  11. I've used the ECU to open the stat on a couple of Duratec cars. The MBE has a fan output and a shift light out put .Either of these can be configured to operate the stat . On the 250 bhp engine I used the stat that Bob supplied ,works fine and reduces the wiring required and the load on the small alternator. Luke I have the Mazda number somewhere if Bob hasn't. Mick
  12. Rob All the Duratec cars I've built have run on R500 pumps. The 2.3 which produces 250bhp is using this pump. Mick
  13. The new ford rear callipers are not the same as the old sierra type, do not turn the piston without first checking. Its a while since Idid a Focus but it may be anticlockwise forthe RHS. Mick Edited by - mic on 9 Jan 2005 10:13:22
  14. The float is faulty, it should be bone dry on the inside
  15. Neil You can wind the piston back by applying pressure on the piston and turning it clockwise at the same time. I've done this using the points of long nose pliers when I've not had the correct tool to hand. Mick
  16. The short pipe with provision for 2 sensors takes 1 stack sensor and the Rover water temp sensor. Mick
  17. Rob It depends on the type of oil system and where you are going to put the alternator. The Duratec chassis should come with the removable right hand diagonal which has an offset in it. This can be reversed so it will fit most exhaust systems. The standard Raceline exhast cannot be used with the Titan or Pace dry sumps. If you need any more info give me a ring. Mick
  18. Neil ECU is MBE 967, and throttle bodies are the same as yours' Mick
  19. Dave It was tested to 7500, no further. Mick
  20. Neil There are some pictures of the Pace sump here here
  21. Neil Minister use the Pace system I believe, although it is a Titan one on their web site. I think Titan are busy with other bits at the moment ,so the new windage tray may not be ready yet. Mick
  22. Jackals car does have a Pace system but does not have remote oil filter, which means it only has 1 extra pipe more than the Titan system. Mick
  23. Rich You should not have to move the alternator, I have a small idler pulley that was on that engine when it was first built. I've also got pictures of it I think. Mick Edited by - mic on 29 Sep 2004 22:19:17
  24. I believe it will a little time before the parts for the Titan system will be available. Mick
  25. The Raceline wet sump is very good, it has even been used with slicks. As always adry sump will be better for circuit use. Mick
