  1. If you want to map fuel per cylinder for absolutely peak bhp or flat out economy, then you need sequential too. But that's in to the realm of super-serious! And you've probably worn out your engine by the time you've finished playing 😬. If you're that serious you have a pile of engines to play with...
  2. Yep, that's what I ended up with after about 15 variations.
  3. Why bother with sequential? Batch injection with single injectors is good for 300+ bhp, and is simpler if there are any transition issues between inner & outer injectors - which you notice on a light car!
  4. Now that I no longer have my Caterham, I barely use it any more. Was perfect for towing to track days, and surprisingly rapid on the road. BMW 535d M Sport Danny

    Mixing Tyres

It's probably safer in a car like a 7, since you can feel the grip much more easily and it's never going to surprise you. Sounds like you'd just get horrible understeer though, in which case you'll quickly want to swap out the hardened fronts too. I had some 7 year old CR500s too, and they were comically bad!
  6. My alternator pulley was over 100mm from memory!
  7. I had one and it seemed to work fine. Seems a cheap thing to try relative to the cost of your engine! I had a large alternator pulley too, to the extent it didn't charge at idle.
  8. Now I can see what my too-lazy-to-post-on-ebay tax was

Surely as an anisotropic material, it's a good conductor *along* the fibres, but less so across? Just like wood - 2 or 3 times better along the grain.
  10. Sold. Top tip for someone who is selling one and searching this forum for pricing - you should set it a bit higher than I did!
  11. I haven't cleaned it on purpose btw, or tried to do anything with the rust to obscure it. The high level tyre rack goes back on with 8 bolts. The Series 1 chassis is not included!
