  1. Would this be an appropriate moment to ask if anyone is interested in some "Arch inside" stckers? 😬 I've already got my coat....
  2. Very clever arrangement on the linkage. But they're not roller barells.
  3. Just been speaking with one of my Swedish friends about this, and he told me about some more nutters in his home town. here I can't read swedish, but if you look at the "Factum" page they're getting 952kw (1,276hp) and 835nm out of the 2.2 litre, 4 pot Volvo engine. 😬 Let the page scroll on the home page, and you can see a picture of the engine on the dyno, and the Turbo is nearly a big as the block! Like you say Ammo, must be the long nights, and Vodka. As Tony the tiger used to say, they're greeeaaat!

    Handling

Front ARB can affect handling at the rear too. I found my old R300 very progressive with 13 inch rims.
  5. These guys do crazy things with turbo's too. Another bunch od Swedish nutters! One of my swedish friends here knows them personally, and told me about them. Turns out Holeshot deal with them for turbo's.
  6. Also anti-rollbar setings can affect understeer/oversteer.
  7. That's the trouble with these bloody forums isn't it. You can read it any way, and imagine a "Tone". You didn't mention "lateral" grip. I assumed we where talking traction. But I get your point. I'll just feck off now shall I.
  8. Er... wrong! Once you lose traction with one wheel, you'll lose drive to the other, with an open dif.
  9. Hi Ammo I can't compare between the two, as I always had a LSD. But over here, the roads are a hell of a lot more slippy than U.K., even when dry, and treacherous in the wet. I had no problems with the LSD in the wet. In my opionion, it all comes down to not having a big right boot! I always found the car very controlable. I wouldn't even consider a Seven with an open diff. not for one second. My car was never tracked.
  10. Can I have a set please? I'll send BM now. Cheers, Mick.
  11. I recon it is. The wishbones are odd, but maybe someone has made them. Diagonals are missing, and the pedal box is not there. Exhaust exit is odd, but again, could be home made. But so much of it is Caterham. Look how it's skinned. Where the bottom of the side panels go from square to curved, looks very Arch to me. Could have been built from a starter kit. But shouldn't it be on a Q plate with a XF?
  12. Hello Richard I've sent you mail regarding these stoppers. To your Carbonbits/easyclad address, so I expect you see it on Monday.
  13. It's more of a boat product, so I don't think B&Q would stock it. They may have a similar product, it's polyurethane adhesive sealant. I'd take a trip to Geneve (a good excuse for a Blat to clear those plugs ) I once had to remove a teak toerail that had been stuck with 5200, and the teak gave way before the 5200!
  14. Anthony, any yacht chandlers near you? (I see you are in Switzerland But you did win the AC ) You can use 3m product 4200, or 5200 (One is black, and the other white, but I can't remember which.) But you won't get them off again! 😬 Most people get it everywhere! But if you wet your finger with a bit of spit, you can smooth it out without it sticking to your finger. Or, use a wet potato.
  15. As Cagey says, it's difficult to tell from a photo. But I would say they look on the lean side. I like my plugs to have a light brown colour. I also do a "plug chop" Run the car at higher revs, then kill the engine. Then take out the plugs to check colour. Could be ignition timing. Only sure way is to put it on the RR.
  16. I think the problem with the carbon is the fact that epoxy resin is not resistent to UV. A clear coat would give it some UV protection. We have the same problem with epoxy resins on boats. We clear coat with varnish, to protect the epoxy.
  17. Jon, it's true. We get "red rain" here. Sometimes there's so much sand in it, it's more like mud, than rain! Bit of a bugger when it happens an hour before my Boss turns up to use his shiney white 27 meter gin palace!
  18. Happens lots over here. No kidding, some of the hailstones are the size of golf balls! Dents the roofs, and bonnets of tintops. I've been lucky so far, considering I park my truck in the street.
  19. There's a realy good shop in Barcelona, that I was in recently, looking at air rifles. You could sell it to me in Barcelona. I'll come over, and we can have a few sherberts
  20. Maybe there where some hailstones in witrh the rain?? CC Carbon gets watermarks, but it disapears when the sun gets on it, and seems to dry the humidity out of it. (You'll be scuppered over there then!) Can't believe it's so expensive, and so crap! 😔
  21. 😬 😬 😬 Maybe I could collect it with the wheel? I need it for the cats. (Runs for cover)
  22. Why not give Holshot a call, and have a word with Jack? here If there's anything he doesn't know about Busas, it 'aint worth knowing. WARNING! Looking at this website could seriously damage your bank account! 😬
  23. Epimetheus, I have tha jig already in my head, and I have facilty to do everything here. But just out of interest, do you mean the guy actaly makes the wishbones, or modifies them? Anyone know what steel Arch use to make them? I wonder what tolerance they're originaly made to?
