Hi there, I'm in the process of changing the sump baffle foam, and sump on my VVC R300. Can anyone tell me the torque figures for the baffle plate and sump bolts, including the two bolts that run forward through the bellhousing into the sump? Cheers, Mick.

O.K. Kevsta. If it's the one that has "Caterham Rover" cast into the bottom, it's not the one I want. If it has "Caterham" only, that'll be the one. (Same as in the online parts section, on Caterhams web site.) No rush. Cheers, Mick.

Hello Kevsta, I've just made the same post to Adrian Williams! I walloped my sump last weekend on a man hole cover, and took all the fins off. Has yours touched the ground? If it's mint, I'm interested. Cheers, Mick.

Franky, Push the hose between the tire bead, and the inside of the rim, to seal the gap. Blow the tire up just enough to be able to pull the hose out, and the tire should pop onto the rim. Personally, I like the butane trick I have some swedish friends, and they're all mad 😬 Must be the lack of sleep, and the Vodka Cheers, Mick.

The reason I ask, is I have to go to Barcelona on Sunday to collect a boat, which is being delivered from Taiwan, and bring it back to Mallorca. I'm not sure how long it will take to clear customs. Wouldn't mind a bit of advice? I have a late R300 with the VVC engine. As CC doesn't produce a parts, or workshop manual, could someone advise me which ones I should buy, as I presume I have to buy a manual for a Rover car with this engine fitted. MG-ZR 160 ? Or does anyone know of a parts, and workshop manual for the engine only? Cheers Mick.
