  1. Hi JohnnySeven 41.6 mm Olly
  2. Chris 5x Superlight minilight wheels & the complete 3.64 diff please. YHM Olly
  3. Think we might be getting confused between switch illumination (panel lights initiated by the side/head switch) & the tell tale illumination initiated by moving the switch to on. Olly
  4. Hi David Yes Ive got one you can have complete with matching countersunk screw, its as per your link with the K&N logo. But its very shiny & I dont know if it would suit your car Olly
  5. Thanks for the fog light reminder, mine was also mentioned on last years MOT. Have just followed your instructions & now its working the way he requested. Olly
  6. I use one similiar to your description on my Smart Car (no sump plug) so sucking out the dipstick tube is the only option. It takes about 15 minutes to suck out the 3.5 litres of warm oil. If you watch the oil level change in the receiver its so slow it looks like its not sucking. Olly
  7. Your mounts look just like mine. After my initial attempts to fit the raceline mounts I convinced myself they would never fit, but found they did when I used the following technique. Loosely secure mounts to the block with the horizontal bolts, this allows you a little bit of movement to line up the vertical bolts with the old crossflow mounts. Then gradually screw home the horizontal & vertical bolts. Olly
  8. Working the switch between on and off a couple times normally does the trick on my car. Olly
  9. Hi David Running twin 40s on 1.8 zetec. Fuel pump mounted on bobbins near fuel tank, pump rated at 4 psi (20 gallons - hour). Pressure regulator mounted on front of pedal box set at 3 psi . My reason for the rear fitting was more to do with concerns over the effect engine bay heat might have on the fuel pump. Olly
  10. The easiest option is to remove the half shafts & prop shaft & then remove the diff with the axle still fitted, you are not going to have enough room in a single garage to remove both shafts. But If you do it outside the garage & then discover you have a knackered diff you will not be able to push the car back in the garage on its own wheels without refitting the diff & half shafts. Olly
  11. It was the Dorset Sevens convoy on our way to Stonleigh. Olly
  12. Clive My fuel pump fuse and relay are located under the dash board above tunnel (this was my choice) with the fuel pump at the back next to the tank. Should be a simple job to trace your feed wire from the pump. Olly
  13. I don’t know about the internals but my replacement red lenses were sourced from a Defender. Olly
  14. Cant help with reasons for the pump cutting out when warm unless you have it located inside the engine compartment. I assume your car like mine started life with a Xflow engine & mechanical fuel pump & only acquired the electric fuel pump as part of its Zetec transplant. The original loom did not have a fuel pump feed or relay, these will have been added, don’t assume these are in the original fuse box. On my Zetec transplant I have an additional fuse box & bank of relays for the ECU, fuel pump & coil pack. No additional fuel tank breathing was added to my 1991 fuel tank. Olly the X Xflow
  15. Thanks Chris I had a look at your website earlier thinking you had a photo looking under the bonnet with the nose removed showing the clearance. Olly
  16. Chris Thanks for the photos, I can see you have the silver top engine, mine is the black top Focus engine. That might explain why yours slipped in with clearance to spare. Olly
  17. Hi Chris Yes thats with cam cover lip removed & the timing belt cover removed. I thaught my ride height was normal with wishbones parallel & nose slightly lower than the rear. Olly
  18. Im seeking advice for a problem that I think Im about to discover as I move closer to my Xflow to Zetec conversion. I have a gap of 620mm from the floor to the front underside of my bonnet. My Xflow is 510mm tall and fills this gap with 35mm free under the bonnet & ground clearance of 75mm. I have now measured the 1.8 Zetec and its 635mm from the top of the cam sprockets to the bottom of the 2 piece factory sump. If the Raceline sump is 160mm tall this will reduce the total height by 60mm to 575mm. So with zero clearance between the cams & bonnet I will have ground clearance of 45mm I don’t fancy a power bulge, so is it a smaller sump or wind up the suspension?. How did you get yours to fit under the bonnet?. Olly
  19. Going to fit an electric fuel pump to a 1991 Xflow live axle car. Does the loom have a fuel pump feed wire at the rear of the car, or do I need to run a cable up the tunnel. Olly
  20. Chris Thanks for a nice easy purchase. why cant everything in life be this simple. Olly
  21. Can I take one radiator please. BM sent Olly
