  1. Mine arrived an hour ago - very shiny and red and will match my spark plug cover nicely! They are, ultimately, "just" hoses but they look bendy and hose-like so I'm happy! Big thanks, again, to Gundersen!
  2. Lol! i spoke to them a couple of days ago and they said 32 and more were dribbling in... 😬 They were quick and eficient, and seemed genuinely impressed at the number of orders they had got! Big thanks to Gundersen for organising this!
  3. I used a peel rivet on a troublesome popper that had pulled through twice, PLUS I had widened the hole even more with some ham-fisted drilling That puppy is going nowhere! i ordered some extra long 4mm ones, I think, and the splay is huge! Just make sure you only rivet where you really really want something - I can't see any easy way of getting the thing out again. This let me fix a popper that I have been struggling with for 6 years
  4. Can I put in a dibs? After doing 4 trackdays with lashing the tyres to the roll bar I am after something quicker and easier. The only problem is it's 11 p.m. and I am going on holiday for a few days tomorrow. I will definitely be able to communicate via email, and will try to send the money via internet banking? I'll BM you.
  5. I must be getting old - I don't know what these new-fangled supersport things are! 😳 Is it a sporty sigma 150?
  6. yes please 1600k series wet sump, apollo tank, and WITH a heater
  7. Ok ta - being lazy but if you follow this thread it has all the instructions...although half of them mean nothing to me without the jack in front of me! old BC thread here
  8. Hi all, My jack has been fine for years but recently sprung a slow leak, so i've got a few questions:- Symptoms The jack is leaking from the end of the piston. It is the end that moves the lifting arm up and down, not the end that is pumped by the handle It has got increasingly slow at lifting anything - you have to pump the handle 3/4 of the way before anything happens...then lift it and wait awhile before you can get another 1/4 of a pump in. Questions 1. There is a threaded bolt in the top that you can undo and see the hydraulic fluid...I think i have accidentally temporarily fixed my jack by pumping the handle with the bolt out, and the handle twisted round to the unlock/lower things position. This has caused lots of bubbles to come out and i can now get a full pump out of it! 😳 😬 Is this the standard way of bleeding these jacks? was i meant to do this? 2. What fluid can I use to top it up!? brake fluid? or is this too corrosive on the plastic seals? 3. How do I fix the leaky cylinder end? I can undo bolts and do them up so long as I have clear pictures or a youtube video to follow!? 4. Where do I get new seals from? I've read in the past that some have leaked, are there stronger ones, or metal ones or something available?
  9. I like the turn buckle idea! do they stick out too much to use normal doors too? The 400 page CBS catalogue has opened a new world to my eyes! 🥰 😳
  10. 2 years too early for me - never mind! currently have the little rohan and it is really good quality - so sturdy!
  11. before you do it - you may want "pull the dot" poppers from softbits.... these have a locking tab so they only un-pop if you pull them one way...it stops the door unpoppering itself if you nudge it in corners or bumps. They need a different base to normal poppers, and you'll need to change the one in the half door, but well worth doing if you have trouble. My passenger one used to come undone all the time...the drivers one only came un-done inside the Karussell! 😳
  12. There are big expanding rivets you can use - forget the name...PEEL rivets... the back becomes really big so they won't pull through any hole... google searc here

AO21's are good, you have to be going VERY quick on a road to really the notice the difference between them and the 48's. Note it is ONLY the 185X70X13's that come at the special price of £50...this is due to some sort of deal with some sort of race series... as an example 185X60X13's are £80-£90 each.

  17. Bagsy 2nd dibs? I am in central London, if you are at all? I will definitely buy it. Or I can collect via train? How heavy is it all? Edited by - irrotational on 22 Jan 2012 21:36:17 Edited by - irrotational on 22 Jan 2012 21:45:27

  19. My polishing battle never got past the first hurdle, so I am in the scruffy as hell camp...rear wing held together by gaffs tape doesn't help... 😳
  20. weirdly I never look in this section, but I think I have one too...i could do with keeping it to go with the spare nose cone but if you get really stuck
