I had a similar problem with mine. Slow when cold cranking but would start then a short drive to the shops and it would not start afterwards 😔 It also would cut out on a long drive then not restart with no lights or heater etc running as it was a sunny day. In the end it was 2 problems. The engine cutting out was due to a poor earth to the immobiliser which was causing it to cut out and requiring a reset. The non-starting was due to a knackered banner battery (only 2 years old !) I tested it by disconnecting from the car, fully charging and then taking voltage samples every couple of hours. Sure enough with no load on it the voltage would decay away over a couple of days down to about 11.5V. Bunged in a new battery and it’s been spot on ever since. Noticeably better when cold cranking and spins over like a dream now.

I have GP Race and convex glass - IMHO they give a really good field of vision. On the aero they are really stable with little or no vibration therefore taking the guess work out of what's going on behind you

I did actually mean the discs but only the bits which are not in contact with the pads ....... obviously 😬

I was thinking about "tarting" up the brake discs over winter and painting the rusty bits. Has anyone done this? What Paint did you use? (Vaguely remember a post from SM25T about it a while ago but can't find it) cheers

I have a pair of Spa Mirrors fitted to my aero screen and given that we are now entering the winter months I have stuck the windscreen back on. The current configuration is fitted with those pillar adaptors and standard Caterham mirrors (which are carp compared to the reward view of the Spa ones) So I was wondering has any one fitted Spa Mirrors to the Windscreen Pillars? If so how did you do it ? Is there an adaptor available that will take the ball end of the mirror and allow reuse of the treaded hole in the pillar?

Just had my first MOT and whilst it passed I had an advisory on a bit of play on one of the front wheel hubs. When investingated the nut was "Finger tight" but held in place by the split pin. I hand tightened it to the next alignment of nut and pin hole and that took the play out of it. Is this enough or does it need torquing up? if so how much ?
