  7. I'm interested in ECU and roller barrels. Send me an email with an idea of price! Cheers.
  8. That is right, I also need to work occasionally to pay for the car. Anyway, cheers Jonathon for buying the trailer....
  9. Yet another blatant dig at me, Mr Blat.....you said you'd tell me what tyres they are, I think I've got an idea though.....
  10. Yes, the trailer is still available.
  11. Sorry for being so slow in replying. Pictures are available at http://www.bookatrack.com You will need to register (they do excellent value track days, so you should be anyway!), then go to gallery, and the author name is Stephen Clarke.... Any questions, please let me know.
  12. But I have got adjustable platforms......
  13. I have a 1998 wide track car with adjustable platforms. The previous (front) springs were the standard ones, and had a free length of about 7.5". I bought some 300lb springs from Caterham (possibly a bit stiff, but I'll give them a go), and these have a free length of almost 9". Caterham say this is correct (no other length is available), but I can't get the ride height correct, it is FAR too high. I've searched on various posts about moving the circlip up the damper. Is this what I need to do? It looks like there is only one groove on the damper body - the other side of the Bilstein sticker - is this where I need to move it to? Or am I looking in completely the wrong place? Thanks for your help. Edited by - clarkey on 16 Jan 2002 19:03:25
  14. Thanks to everyone for the interest. I'm not around at the moment so won't be phoning anyone for a day or two. I'll have a photo by then so I'll email that too. I'm in Maidenhead, Berks.
  15. Due to a planned house move I need to sell my trailer. It is single axle with a manual winch and space for jerry can and 4 spare wheels. Total length is about 4.5m, total width is about 2.15m. Both tyres were replaced last summer. Ideal for Caterham, tows well. I'm looking for about £400. Thanks.
  16. £100 sounds more like it.....
  17. I'm interested, don't need the wheels though. Price?
  18. Yes, they are black. Do we agree on £300?
  19. Describe the S-type seats to me..... These are comfy leather things on runners with a removable seat section and removable headrest. I believe they are S-type. I am hoping for £300. I have had a message from Lawrence in Newcastle already, no firm offer as yet though, although I'll give him first refusal. I'm not around much over the next day or two so it would help if you could leave messages here rather than email. Thanks.
  20. From a 1998 Superlight R, excellent condition. Available due to purchase of R500 seats. Will be available early December. Offers? Edited by - clarkey on 14 Nov 2001 17:41:53
  21. The ECU reset has sorted it out. Procedure was switch on ignition, press accelerator 5 times over 45 seconds (slowly), switch off ignition and there is a click after about 20 seconds. Fire up and it idles.....
  22. My SLR had a knackered 7" Caterham race silencer with 4-2-1 manifold and no catalyst. I bought a SBD silencer off a friend, and fitted this today, but now the car won't idle, hot or cold. Everything else is standard. Will it 'learn' the new exhaust, or is the only option to get an Emerald ECU and a re-map? I'd rather not do this immediately if I can help it. Is there anyway to force the ECU to re-map to base settings, or am I stuffed? On the positive side, it is far quieter now..... Edited by - Clarkey on 4 Nov 2001 18:31:58

    Car Covers

Be very careful about using an outdoor cover indoors - most of them rely on air circulation under the cover, and carry warnings about paint damage if you choose to use it indoors.
