  1. I have a colleague possibly looking for one of these, he suffered a potential valve failure last week. I'll send a pm to put him in touch
  2. Yuasa U1. I think that the R refers to the terminal orientation
  3. 188 x 122 at the base. Great battery so far, 2 years and lots of standing still. Runs my Caterham Crossflow, Grey Fergie and ride on lawnmower 😁. Halfords
  4. Great idea Paul Does anyone know if that is stable enough on the small diameter screw when driving reasonably fast on a long straight? In other words, has anyone done it and it hasn't fallen off?
  5. I'm meeting a friend in France for a trackday in his French Seven. He only has sidescreen mirrors which are not very good. Ideally I would take a pair of side mirrors that I could securely clamp onto the windscreen stanchion - fit in my hand luggage, no drilling, no modification or damage to his car, and most importantly, they work!! Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance Brian
  6. Looking forward to hearing how they performed as I may need a solution by the end of the month. Fingers crossed 🤞
  7. Indeed I did, but now on aluminium cycle wings. However, it may be more interesting to fabricate an aluminium air box rather than modify a carbon unit. I only want an air box to suppress intake noise as opposed to performance and great looks
  8. Mmmm, I wonder if that airbox might be able to be modified for a crossflow? Could you send me more photos and principal dimensions? Many thanks in advance. Brian
  9. My cage will fit your car. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers Brian
  10. I found my post from 2021 and I have a tall cage that was fitted to a 1989 dedion.
  11. I'm pretty sure that I have a tall imperial cage, I'll check at the weekend. Is the car dedion or live axle? Cheers Brian
  12. Does anyone have a single usable Avon Turbo Speed CR28 185/60 13 tyre for track day use? I just need one to make a set of 4.
  13. Does anyone have a recommendation or has anyone tried the 5W solar trickle charger sold by Screwfix, manufacturer Ring,at circa £25
  14. Great buy, and I would, but no "on the shelf" space left ☹️
  15. Roy, I would like to buy this. I'll send you my contact details. Cheers Brian

    Crossflow Noise

    94dB is amazingly quiet

    Crossflow Noise

Nmanning is selling a 1800 Crossflow with a Raceco silencer giving 94dB. I noticed that the inlet to the silencer is not central. Do anyone know what the internals look like?
  18. Message sent with email and mobile. Cheers
  19. Rod I'm interested and will message you
  20. Innovated, tested and developed by the one and only ECR #17
  21. I've seen a different solution, a single spring loaded fastener at the centre, which is the same as those used at the front of the bonnet. It works well.
  22. I recommend you get the bushes changed by Bilstein. I managed it on a press but only after Bilstein sent me the drawing of the mandrel they use which I made to enable the fitting.
