  1. It'll only take a few minutes to do, trim should be in the kit... the only other thing you need is atube of superglue and a stanley knife and you'll save yourself a few quid. Have you done the trim around the fog and reverse lights too? Same trim. Don't know what the current manual says but CC Midlands pointed me the right way with these few SVA trim bits that weren't in mine. Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  2. Just measured mine, its an SV but there's still only 18mm clearance on full lock. Depending on how much you need can't you 'tweak' the stays? Making sure they stay over the tyres of course. If something was out of square it would bug me every time I walked upto the car! Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  3. Hi Andreas, Definately another bracket, I got both versions with my 08 car. here is the later version Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  4. Spotted on my way back from a blat this morning, centre of Hull this time! I'm finding it a little unlikely but are you on here? Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  5. GN07 XXX. Victoria Road Beverley at about 12.30 today. SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  6. Don't use the brush!! I use a tooth pick! coctail stick to fill in the chips then leave for 24 hours before using autoglym (polish) on a clean cloth to flatten out any lumpy bits. 'Touched up' a great chip today (huge) bottom edge of nearside rear wing. Wondering whether I should just accept it looking a bit rough?? Everyone elses car looks great no matter how its used SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black.
  7. If you are trying to balance the mounting height of the ARB wouldn't they have to be handed? I've definately got one but can't do anything about posting till Saturday. £17 If your interested you can have it for cost of postage. Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black. I was the catman but I'm alright Noooowww........
  8. Don't want to sound numpty but if your moving the rack there will be some resistance. I also remember the manual saying that you only fully torque so many of the upright fixings when the car is stood on the ground. Andy EDIT - MUST TYPE QUICKER and not watch TV! 9. Good advice above. I would only add that you plan your weekend on a Wednesday, that will give Sean enough time to get you what you need. Nothing worse than finding you need something on a Saturday afternoon. Very efficient chap. Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black. I was the catman but I'm alright Noooowww........
  10. Not sure they were the cheapest and I did have to modify them from square to round but these from Cromwell Tools did the trick for me, here and Page 1021 of their catalogue. Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black. I was the catman but I'm alright Noooowww........
  11. Super Glue, underside only Held OK for me. If you want it to hold on for ever I'd say either Stickyflex or Terostat. Andy SV in Aztec Orange 'n' Black. I was the catman but I'm alright Noooowww........

  25. Hi Bob, how you doing? Good to hear from you. First proper drive in my Cat for a while (100+miles) and my diff seems to whine quite a bit (lot) at a certian speed but lower than and above that speed it quitens down to what I would expect being sat with my ass a few inches away from it. It is still noisy. Difficult to explain I suppose but what did yours sound like/how bad was it? With the buzz from the exhaust in one ear and the whine in the other (I can still hear it) I think I'll invest in some plugs and maybe just carry on. Andy Lardy Aztec Orange 'n' Black
