  1. Hi Robert. I had a leaking battery on mine not long after the build. I had the overflow tube fitted but there was no sign of moisture in there. The battery tray was covered in the white/green powdery gunk that I managed to clean off with water and bicarb. Reason for the post is that it was the seam on the battery that failed on mine. Double check yours for any sign of failure. Andy
  2. Spotted in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Saturday 14th March. Don't see too many Sevens close to home. Andy
  3. Hi, I have July 2008 17+Mb if you want to send me an email. I'm sure it's in my profile, if not shout up. Andy

  8. Just the one, On't Moors! Yorkshire. 😬
  9. Have you tried putting a different battery on it? Andy
  10. Another for Dave. Fitted the material myself but spot on service.
  11. I had an alternative method of a clean front end when I wanted it. I drilled the holes for the front plate then glued (araldite) some plastic nuts on the back of the nose cone to make them captive. Now when I want a clean front I just take the plate off and screw some black number plate screws in. Looks neat. Suppose you have to have a black band or nose cone though. 😳
  12. Go Large... here Probably over done but they're still hanging with Sikaflex after after 4+ yrs. Then Forgive me but Mudflaps were fitted with Bigheads and Tigerseal. here They are also still good so I think it has as much to do with prep as product?
  13. A165 close to Filey, East Riding of Yorkshire. 2nd Caterham I've seen this year! Woohoo... 😬 Even Morgan drivers (3off) were waving today..... in celebration of the sunshine!!
  14. Never realised there were S3 and SV hinges, SV were too expensive but I think I'll invest in some of the S3 plastic ones and make something up to use them as wall hangers for when I'm out without doors.
  15. Hi Ian, the distance might have made me think otherwise but I put mine on a trailer and took it to CC Midlands for PBC and had it booked in a few weeks later for SVA. So long as you followed what the book said and CC have checked it over then it should be good to go. Just make a last minute (week before) call to CC to make sure VOSA haven't added anything to their hit list. As others have said put a scratch set of tools in the boot and go for it. I probably shouldn't have but I actually enjoy it. Which ever way you go you'll be blatting soon and look like this 😬

  18. It'll come back to me... I think it's Flickr that's changed. All I wanted to do was post a picture rather than a linky.

  20. I suffered with this for a long time, most noticeable when pulling away briskly. After checking earth's, other electrical connections and leaky hoses it turned out to be a duff spark plug. Andy
