Hi Merrick,

I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't an 'Open Pit Lane'.

Who decides the format? You or Brands Hatch?

Regards,

CycleSi

Its an MSV day, the club have one session . The club used to book the whole day but the recession put paid to the number of members that would pay to fill all the spaces to cover the cost .

Cadwell was OPL and I suspect Hethel ( but don't know ) will be as well .

Morning.

The bookings for Brands GP are even faster than Cadwell *thumbup* *thumbup*

We are now half full so please be quick to avoid disappiontment.

I will ask Sam to run a reserve list when the bookings are full.

Thank you Mark *smile*

Si the club have bought one 20 mins session per hour from MSV. You could call

the 20 mins an OPL 😬 Pete has booked already ( I told him you were the fist to book ) 😳 😳

See you all at Brands

Merrick

There was a booking form in the last Low Flying. Or you can download it from the members' section. I put the link in the Hethel thread in this section. If you have any difficulties, drop me a Blatmail and I'll forward it to you.

I have heard conflicting stories about the roll cage. Is the standard roll cage OK, I have a standard Roadsport 125?

All advice welcome!

Paul, as it's a session (albeit reserved exclusively for us) on a trackday organised by MSV, then MSV rules apply and they do not require an FIA rollbar.

If it was a Club organised trackday then an FIA bar would be required as a minimum. A full cage surpasses an FIA rollbar and so would be acceptable on a Club trackday as well.

Hope that helps *wink*

Hi guys, I am posting on behalf of Merrick.

As a bit of fun we shall bring along a set or corner weights scales and if you wish, weigh your car. We can also weigh it with you and record the corners for you to see how good or bad it really is 😬

We can also measure your camber and toe giving you an accurate reading for you to analyse. The garages at Brands are flat and offer a perfect base for this. All being well we aim to set up lunchtime ish, so if your up for this please say and let the bragging begin *wavey*
