  7. David / drumster thanks, im on the case next week and already have a spare set of horns . the picture is very helpful alan
  8. sorry JK, its the little black button ( like the red starter button) on the right side of the dash behind the steering wheel 25, it needs little fingers and a strong back to lean over fiddling, i have neither but i know a Doc who does.... ta for inputs alan
  9. My horn has basically stopped working , it has but very intermittently i need to get at the back of it , can anyone tell me how it comes out ? it feels like the front might be screwed to the back sandwiching the actual dash ? any other thoughts always welcome Ta
  10. surely the £2700 420 engine for sale on here is the way to go even with shipping and taxes ? good luck
  11. David i bought back my Dura engined car a few years ago and it had done just 600 miles in the intervening 3 years i checked the plugs and had exactly what you have...water/rust indictors in the plug caps. strange looking at the layers of protection you would not think you could get that much water in. But i tried to take one of the plugs out and ....left most of it in !! in got rescued by a cleverer tech peron who extracted the broken plug. done 14000 miles since and its not been affected. alan
  12. Call PGM and get some good info and potentially a fix... bit of a way to travel but...
  13. there was a set for sale today
  14. Ive put them in a friends car...power gun needed...my old neck didnt like it... go and book arch there is an additional bracing with a CSR , they will sort it alan
