  5. Hi Garth, Yes it folds and can be packed into the corner of your garage without taking too much space. Will sort some photos tomorrow.

I have two wheels a 6x13 and 8x13 in anthracite silver 8-spoke. They have some very old CR500 which are probably unusable by now. Condition is ok, will probably be good as spare wheels or track wheels. £100 for both. Collection from Aylesbury.

  12. Full details here. I can provide greater detail on the engine if needed. https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/caterham/all-models/2006-caterham--209-bhp/7600907
  13. That is a shock! Fortunately, I didn't need one in the end, just fished out the nylon bit using some old mains wire and long nose pliers and then refitted the column. Job sorted!
  14. Thanks. I think this may be it. I saw the thin nylon sleeve slide into the column - didn't think anything of it at the time, but will have to try and extract it now. Any idea where I can get these from if I need a new one?
  15. Hello all, After a bit of engine work and a reinstall of my engine, I've refitted the steering column (Rover S3) and have noticed there seems to be quite a bit of side to side and up and down play at the steering wheel (not rotational play). Is this normal? I don't remember it being like this. It's possible something dropped off the short column when I removed it, but I can't find anything around the garage or in the car. If it's not normal, what part could I be missing at the dashboard side? Thanks for any help.
  16. Thanks for the pic - very helpful.
  17. Thanks guys. I'm also considering a load leveller. Just want to check the lifting eye points on the engine - looks like there's a bolt hole for one at the front of the engine on drivers side near the throttle body and presumably the one at the back goes where the rear cam seal cover is?
  18. Thanks. Where do you get the lifting eyes from?
  19. Hello all, a couple of quick questions for removing a 1.8K engine. 1. Do people generally remove the throttle bodies before lifting the engine (mine are Jenveys) 2. If you remove the throttle bodies, what are the torque settings for the nuts upon reinstallation? Thanks Anton
  20. Looking forward to tuesday... weather is looking good so far. I'd be interested in getting my car weighed as well.
  21. Thanks Dave. I have tweaked the idle and fueling a bit, which seems to have helped. The problem might be related to a newer tps that I fitted recently (I did the calibration, so it should be ok). If it's still a problem, I might change the tps back.
  22. Mine says port is not valid, but I just ok it and connect and download the map fine. If you ok it and go to live view with engine on, is it updating?
