Thanks Radn34 I was interested to hear what other do. AFAIK, there is only one water rail but, as you have done, it can be fitted with or without the header tank.

I have a Zetec with Raceline water rail, and header tank. For those with similar, how do you fill your coolant and what quantity? Thanks

Rich, I've only ever run Yokohama A021 or A048, so I defer to the above comments. However, you mention "60:40 road:track". Nankang say their NS-2R is a 50:50 road:track, and the AR-1 10:90 road:track. I'm going to try the NS-2R. HTH.

Thanks but I meant for lubricating the rack itself; rather than helping teh gaitre on. But a useful tip. -

Thanks Chris for that explation and photos. Should be a big help when I do mine. One more question I don't see in any of the threads - what grease / lubricant should be used on the rack, when replacing the gaiter? Thanks -

I'm surprised to hear L7C and LOT aren't ATDO members. I'm sure they used to be. I just came across Trackday Insurance (third party cover) Benefit we have as members. I didn't know that. A nice benefit.

I have a Dunnell ecu (actually ignition mapping) fitted to my Zetec but this is locked so only Dunnell can do the mapping. I'd recommend getting an ecu which allows you free access to it. Raceline do Zetec kits.

+1 for machine mart jack - will be looking at their offerings to replace my current, Clarke, one. Don't pay "full" price for Halfords skt sets. They have them on sale, with significant reduction, a few times every year.

Worth having a look at motorbike sat navs as they can have a feature to plan / use twisty roads. Though, they tend to be significantly more expensive than car sat nav.
