Try Aldi. Some stores have some of the Garmin motorbike units at a lower cost. The bike ones also have features like choosing twisty road IIRC.

The flashing change up lights may point elsewhere but when I had similar symptoms, it was due to the air intake on my carbs being partially blocked.

30ltrs of fuel will make a nice blat. I did the same as Rick to wash it out; may have added some washing-up liquid.

Yes, that's how I did mine (LA, carbs). The trickiest part was removing the boot floor!
